iPad 2 launch going to be a flop? Apple employee thinks so

The Cult of Mac has apparently had some inside information from an Apple employee who says that the iPad 2 launch is going to be a rather boring affair and that they have been running into problems all during the development phase.

Cult Of Mac spoke to the unnamed source and he told them ““For the iPad 2 don’t get your hopes up too high. That’s all I’m going to say. They’ve had a number of problems along the way, and the third-generation iPad is the one to make a song and a dance about.”

The iPad 2 is going to be faster, thinner and lighter than the first version we all know and love and it will have front and rear facing cameras for Facetime videoconferencing and for photos and video content. There is also going to be a larger speaker for better sound, although the screen will be the same resolution as the first model.

The iPad 3 looks to be the really exciting product with super high resolution screen and a list of as yet unnamed high spec additions.

KitGuru says: Lets hope the unnamed Apple source doesn't get caught speaking to the press. Apple can be very unforgiving about information being passed between the press and their employees.
