Facebook revenues $1.2 billion across nine months

Facebook growth is staggering in recent months. Latest reports from Goldman Sachs show that they raked in $1.2 billion across the first nine months of 2010.

Facebooks net income in the first nine months of 2010 peaked at $355 million and Goldman values the company now at $50 billion and its offering $1.5 billion in Facebook equity.

Facebook now have 500 million users worldwide and what is even more impressive is that half of those 500 million people log in, every single day. In reality it is the perfect advertising platform, especially as the users are passing over information about themselves, their friends and family on a very regular basis.

Facebook's revenue was $777 million in 2009 with a net income of $200 million, and if they continue growing at this rate they will be one of the most successful companies on the face of the planet.
