HIS HD6970 IceQ Turbo Edition Review

Overclocking today was performed with Sapphire excellent TRIXX software utility.

As the card is already supplied in an overclocked state we were quite pleased to achieve another 48mhz on the core and another 52mhz with the GDDR5 memory. Not huge overclocks but it does indicate that the card is running well within safe parameters.

The overclocked settings enable the frame rates to be boosted by a couple of frames per second from 55 to 57.4.
