MSI R6970 Lightning Twin Frozr III Review (18 Phase PWM)

To overclock the MSI R6970 Lightning Twin Frozr III graphics card we are using MSI Afterburner software. This allows us to adjust three seperate voltage settings to push the card even further than normal.

This additional manual overclock manages to produce another 3 frames per second, scoring an average of almost 60 fps. Incredible results when you factor in that the reference clocked GTX570 is averaging under 52fps.

This isn't the highest overclock we achieved however, as the Asus HD6970 Direct CU II managed to reach 1100mhz.
