Gigabyte Z97X-SOC Force Motherboard Review

We will outline the performance increases that can be obtained from using the Gigabyte Z97X-SOC Force motherboard to overclock our system. Our overclocked processor frequency was 4.7GHz and memory speed was 2400MHz.

We will include comparison numbers in future motherboard reviews as we build up our test database using the 4790K processor.

Overclocked numbers show a strong boost in comparison to the stock speed results, with exception of Bioshock Infinite. The CPU-stressing Cinebench and 3DMark benchmarks benefit from the 4.7GHz CPU frequency.
