A very important part of overall system responsiveness is down to hard drive performance. We use two of our favourite benchmark utilities Crystalmark X64 Edition and HD Tach to rate the SSD and HDD.
The Crucial Solid State drive is a great performer, which we already knew from previous testing. The write speeds are a little lower than the latest SSD high performance designs, but generally it isn't noticeable. It makes for an ideal boot/os drive.
