Today we are using a modified version of Super pi which also shows milliseconds – this is called Super Pi Mod 1.5 and is freely available online. We don't often use this benchmark test, but we get a lot of requests to include it.
We are running the 1 million and the 32 million tests.
The Sapphire H67 Pure Platinum board, combined with the Intel Core i7 2600k manages to break the 10 second barrier with the 1 million test. The 32 million Pi test took 9 minutes and 25 seconds to complete, a fast result highlighting the performance benefits from the Sandybridge architecture.
