Default SteelSeries Siberia V2 Red Edition Headset.

I just ordered a pair for a big LAN event I have upcoming. These were within budget.

My options were
The SteelSeries Siberia V2's didn't seem like good value for money to me. They look flimsy.
The SteelSeries 7H's were way out of my price bracket.(A crying shame)
The Corsair set wasn't available locally(Only the USB option, which put them out of my price bracket.)
The SteelSeries 5H V2's Seemed the most solidly built (Besides the 7H) and represented good value for money.

I will post some pic's when I get hold of the headset

Edit.
The 5H V2's weren't available (see post 3) So i Went with the Siberia V2's in Red.

I'm jealous; they aren't coming to SA.

I just got an E-Mail back from my supplier. The 5H V2's are out of stock, and I can't wait for them to be shipped in. So I ordered the Siberia V2's Hoping they have them in stock. The Siberia V2's seem to b a better deal after reading and comparing reviews concerning both headsets (5H V2, Siberia V2)

SteelSeries Siberia V2's In black

Beauty Shot:

Driver Venting:

Ear Cups:

My impressions are that this is a great headset, nice clear Bass, not bad on the high end tones either. They can be a bit annoying on hot days due to the leather ear cups, but are usually incredibly comfortable.
Helped me improve my game in COD: MW1+2... Foot steps and gunshots seem to receive special treatment with this headset, making them incredibly easy to hear and figure out direction!

Worth Every Cent.
