Don’t expect single player DLC for GTA V any time soon

Rockstar recently announced the next update for Grand Theft Auto Online, unfortunately, it seems that the game's multiplayer updates are the only thing the studio is working on. While many have been hoping for some single player DLC for Grand Theft Auto V for a while now, the core team is wrapped up in multiplayer updates.

The next GTA Online DLC is called ‘Freemode Events', which will add random events in to the game world for those who aren't on missions. Other game's do similar things, with Destiny being a pretty good example.

For those who play a lot of Grand Theft Auto Online, this is great news but for those who prefer the single player experience, it's a bit disappointing. In a recent interview with IGN, Rockstar North Director of Design, Imran Sarwar spoke on the future of DLC for GTA V:

“Right now our focus is on GTA Online which has exceeded our expectations. We currently have all key members of the team that launched Grand Theft Auto V focused on supporting GTA Online in every capacity.”

KitGuru Says: This is pretty disappointing news. While GTA Online is fun from time to time, Grand Theft Auto V's single player is fantastic and many love the new characters Rockstar introduced this time around.
