Grand Theft Auto V has finally been announced for PC

I think some of us can admit that Rockstar really had us going for a while but Grand Theft Auto V has finally been announced for the PC as well as the Playstation 4 and Xbox One. The game released last September and went on to become the highest selling game of all time.

We still have a bit of a wait to go, the game won't be coming out until September, which is still a full year after the original release. However, lots of PC gamers have been waiting this long so a little more can't hurt. On the PS4 the game will run at 1080p although the framerate has yet to be revealed.

The Xbox One frame rate and resolution has yet to be revealed, although both consoles are likely to be running at 30 frames per second. Those of you that already own the game will be able to transfer your Grand Theft Auto Online character between platforms, so you won't have to start from scratch and you'll keep all of your cars and properties.

GTA Online will also have much more content available by September although a release date for Heists has yet to be confirmed. All of that aside though, we already know that PC is going to be the place to play, we've seen a huge amount of mods made for GTA IV and that trend will likely continue in to GTA V.

KitGuru Says: Grand Theft Auto V is finally coming to PC, we won't have to deal with the choppy frame rate or the low resolution textures anymore. Are you guys going to pick up GTA V on the PC in September? Or do you think Rockstar stayed silent on the subject for too long?
