Titanfall 2 to launch in the middle of Battlefield and Call of Duty

As popular as Titanfall was when the series first launched in 2014, it hasn't proven to have the staying power of a big franchise like Battlefield or Call of Duty. However, that isn't going to deter EA this winter as Titanfall 2 will be launching within three weeks of Battlefield 1 and potentially within one week of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.

The maths could be a little off, as EA has yet to specify whether Titanfall 2 will launch three weeks before or three weeks after Battlefield 1- which comes out on the 21st of October this year. So Titanfall 2 is currently planned to release some time between the 30th of September and the 11th of November.

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare this year comes out on the 4th of November, so Titanfall 2 will have two pretty massive shooters to compete against this holiday season. Things could potentially change later down the line, particularly now that EA isn't so opposed to delaying games. However, for now, this seems to be the plan.

KitGuru Says: I really liked Titanfall but its sequel will have a tough time going up against both Call of Duty and Battlefield within such a short space of time given how huge both franchises are. Do you guys think Titanfall 2 can hold its own releasing in the middle of Battlefield and COD?
