“Gaming Experience for the Deaf & Hard of Hearing – Still Not Up to Par”

Game developers translate and localize games for different countries around the world, but many developers are unaware (or unwilling) to accommodate for the deaf and hard of hearing.  Although the world will have roughly 215 million hearing-impaired people in 2015, it is not required for video games to include subtitles.  Fortunately, many games now integrate subtitles, though that still does not make a top selling game a well-rated one by the deaf and hard of hearing.
