Following Google's flop with the Nexus 6 last year, the company has decided to bring LG back on board for 2015 with a brand new Nexus 5. We have been hearing rumours about it for some time, with many pointing towards, looks, features and hardware specifications. The latest to come out of the rumour mill seems to suggest that the Nexus 5 will feature a Snapdragon 808 6-core chip.
Aside from that, we can also expect to see a 5.2 inch 1080p display, though this has been suggested for a long time. We will also see 3GB of RAM and an Adreno 418 GPU, which according to Android Police's sources, will offer “respectable” performance in games.
The new changes to the spec sheet appear to be the Snapdragon 808 chip, along with the GPU. The Android Police report seems to coincide with previous rumours, which also noted a USB Type-C connector, a 12 megapixel rear facing camera, a finger print sensor and a 2700 mAh battery.
As with previous Nexus smartphones, the device will be available in a 16GB and a 32GB variant. Still no exact word on price but we can speculate that it will be in-line with the previous Nexus 5 before it was discontinued. Right now, we are expecting an October announcement date for the new Nexus line-up.

KitGuru Says: The Nexus 5 is making a return and its specifications may end up being slightly better than previously thought. The Snapdragon 808 seems like a smart choice, it won't be as powerful as the 810 but it should also avoid those pesky heat issues that many have been experiencing.
