Tegra 3 powered Acer Iconia Tab to launch in the EU next month

Acer's upcoming Iconia Tab A510 which was announced last month at CES is reportedly due for a launch in Europe next month attached with a healthy price tag.

The latest Acer tablet packs in Nvidia's latest Tegra 3 chipset and a full gigabyte of RAM but it gets exciting when the huge 36.26 Wh battery gets mentioned. In comparison the Asus Transformer Prime has a 25 Wh battery. This causes Acer to claim that battery life will be a very impressive 18 hours, although it does come at the cost of some thinness and weight.

Other than that the tablet is your standard 10.1 inch Android tablet with a 1280×800 display, 32 GB of storage with room for more with a MicroSD slot plus front and rear cameras.

The Acer Iconia Tab A510 will launch with Android 4.0 on board and is set to hit European stores for 399 Euros, which converts to a bit over $500 USD starting in March.

Kitguru says: The Iconia Tab A510 is the Motorola Razr Maxx of the tablet world and I am loving where manufactures are going with this larger battery strategy.
