Google Documents editing added to Android & iOS

Google have updated their software to allow for mobile editing of Google Documents for both iOS and Android platforms. This has been a feature many people have been waiting on for months.

Thanks to this new feature, it means that users can now edit their documents on the move. Andrew Grieve, a software engineer at Google has posted information on the Mobile blog pages saying that this will be rolled out over the rest of the week.

To get editing, visit from the mobile web browser of the Android or iOS device and select the document you need to edit or create a new document and begin editing it. This edit button then activates the mobile editor code, and depending on the connection will offer a real time experience. Google Spreadsheets can also be updated and shared between multiple users.
