Nvidia releases Game Ready driver for Watch Dogs 2

Watch Dogs 2 may already be out for console gamers but us over on the PC side have had to wait a little longer to get our hands on it. As we have seen with the original Watch Dogs, the sequel will carry some of Nvidia's graphics tech in the PC version and to prepare GeForce GPU owners for that, Nvidia has already released its ‘Game Ready' driver for the game.

Nvidia's GeForce 376.09 WHQL driver contains optimisations specifically for Watch Dogs 2 to deliver the “definitive day one experience”. This driver also contains an SLI profile for the game so multi-GPU users should see some performance benefits.

Nvidia and Ubisoft have also teamed up to bundle Watch Dogs 2 keys with certain graphics cards- specifically the GTX 1070 and GTX 1080. The game itself takes place in San Francisco and moves on to a new protagonist known as Marcus, who joins the hacking group ‘DedSec' to try and take down the CTOS.

Watch Dogs 2 comes to PC on the 29th of November.

KitGuru Says: While the original Watch Dogs was quite disappointing and didn't run particularly well on PC, going by the reviews Watch Dogs 2 could be the start of a bright new chapter for the series. Hopefully that means we can expect a better PC version this time around. Are any of you thinking about picking up Watch Dogs 2?
