Today we look at the AOC G2460PQU 24 inch monitor, designed specifically for gaming. The monitor has a 144hz refresh with a rated response time of 1ms. Competitively priced in the UK at £239.99 inc vat, is this the gaming monitor you want to be shortlisting for an upgrade before the end of the year?

The AOC G2460PQU has been created for hard core gamers who demand smooth motion, the 144hz rate also should also mean reduced eye strain during long gaming sessions. The monitor is a Twisted Numatic design and the 4 way adjustable monitor stand is supplied already fitted.

Connectivity is extensive. The screen incorporates a HDMI, DisplayPort, Dual Link DVI and Analog video port alongside a USB 2.0 hub.

when using the display port you only get 60 hz at 1080p, did you miss this? hoping a firmware update can fix this as else i can only eyefinity at 60hz.

One gets their moneys worth with this monitor. I shall be buying this monitor for my new gaming rig. I find the built in USB ports a very unique and useful feature to plug in Mouse and Keyboard. Keeping things tidy as I have my tower in the floor to the side.
