BigFoot Killer 2100 Gaming Network Card Review

I admitted earlier that I came into this review with strong feelings that this product was not going to make the slightest bit of difference to my networking experience. I have a 50mbit connection and a very sophisticated home network with gigabit switches and top quality cabling throughout – how on earth was a £95 gaming network card going to justify the cost?

The answer is simple, if you need the fastest throughput and the lowest latencies then this card is going to pay for itself over the course of the first year, I would be confident in saying that our testing has proved that this isn't all mad fantasy. It will not cure a crap connection, but it will surely maximise the connection you have to any server across the globe. We noticed that online games were more responsive, CPU time was down and that even across our local network that latencies had improved and that files would copy slightly faster from machine to machine.

Our synthetic testing shows noticeable gains and performance improvements but the real world experience is when it really matters. Gaming online is something this product was created to handle and I noticed that games felt more responsive, the lag was reduced and that the overall experience was significantly better. If you spend most of your spare time gaming online then I am confident in saying that this network card really will help you nail those tricky headshots.

KitGuru says: We like this latest BigFoot product, it is gimmick free and delivers Killer performance. Pun intended.
