Nice looking headset, but its quite expensive. Its about half the price of pure audiophile headphones, which might prove a problem for Corsair.

Its a lot of cash, but if you value wireless then its a good deal. Corsair release quality products. I bought one of their cases recently and I love it.

How do they compare to the Vengeance 1500?
or they are virtually the same, except that the 2000 is wireless?

Very nice review, but what I’m missing is the review of the actual surround sound quality. How is the 7.1 virtual surround sound on the headset? I understand the sound quality is good, but from what I’ve read you only tested it in stereo settings.

Are you able to distinguish where the sound is coming from, i.e. directional sound like left rear, right rear, left front, right front etc.
Hope you can answer this for me before buying!
