Microsoft target Apple with ‘pop up’ stores Oct 26th

Microsoft are set to launch a series of ‘pop up' stores on October 26th, which will sell the Microsoft Surface. The company are planning to launch stores in America and Canada in the same retail locations as Apple stores. 29 of the 32 stores are said to be in the same mall or shopping center as the local Apple stores.

The 32 stores are not permanent locations, temporary stores to sell during the holiday season. Microsoft list all their stores now, including these new pop up locations.

A primary focus for these stores will be to sell the Surface tablet, although Microsoft have not detailed this publicly. Each of the 32 store pages show the Windows RT device.
