Sharkoon announce the TG6 RGB mid tower case

Sharkoon has announced it is launching a new mid-tower ATX case – the TG6 RGB is set to offer performance at a reasonable price by combining the chic look of glass panels with a spacious interior.

The new TG6 RGB case from Sharkoon is designed with water cooling in mind, by offering ample space for radiators and comes pre-installed with four 120mm addressable RGB fans. According to Sharkoon, the pre-installed fans should offer necessary airflow throughout the case and are ideal to light up the hardware components that make up the system.

Thanks to a new modular frame design, there are no visible screws on the fans. Rubberised mounting points and the design of the fan blades, combines quiet operation and high airflow output. The system should be well protected from dust build-up too, with filters applied to the top, bottom and front panels, attached magnetically to the top.

The front of the case offers space for radiators up to 52mm thick to be mounted and thanks to a detachable fan/radiator tray, installation should be straightforward. With this mounting system in place, up to 360mm long radiators can be installed into the front of the TG6 RGB, making it the ideal home for a water-cooled system.

To control the pre-installed addressable RGB fans, the TG6 RGB comes with an integrated RGB controller, which can connect up to eight RGB LED devices, enabling colour and pattern effects to be set to the users' requirements. The RGB controller HUB also supports major motherboard manufacturers' RGB SYNC software via a 5V 3-pin LED header connection.

Both the front and side panel of the TG6 RGB is tempered glass, which provides a great view of those expensive internal components, while the power supply, cabling and storage drives are hidden away in the shrouds and behind the motherboard tray. A HDD cage under the PSU shroud can be positioned to provide more space if required.

The TG6 RGB case is spacious enough to support the installation of graphics cards up to 400mm long, CPU coolers up to 167mm tall and power supplies up to 205mm in length. Storage drives are well catered for too with mounting locations for up to three 3.5” HDDs and Four 2.5” drives.

The Sharkoon TG6 RGB is available immediately with a suggested manufacturers price of 84.90€.

KitGuru says: The specifications of the Sharkoon TG6 RGB certainly offers a lot of bang for your buck. Personally, I have not owned a Sharkoon case before but I would be very interested to see what the quality is like. What are your thoughts on the Sharkoon products?
