Sapphire is reportedly selling RDNA 2-based crypto mining graphics cards

Sapphire appears to have begun selling dedicated crypto mining graphics cards based on AMD's RDNA 2 architecture. Currently, no such product is listed publicly on Sapphire's website, but Spanish news outlets claim that they do exist, and even have specification sheets and pricing information.

According to El Chapuzas Informatico, Sapphire's dedicated mining cards are known as ‘Sapphire GPRO' and sources claim to have thousands of these graphics cards already. There are several models available, using Navi 22 and Navi 23 GPUs to power these mining graphics cards.

Starting with the Sapphire GPRO X080, this card uses the Navi 22 GPU with 2304 stream processors at 2132MHz, and 10GB of GDDR6 memory clocked at 16Gbps across a 160-bit memory bus. Powered by a single 8-pin power connector, this card provides miners with 38.05MH/s of Ethereum mining performance out-of-the-box. However, through some tinkering, you can improve performance and reduce power consumption.

The second option is the GPRO X060, powered by a Navi 23 XL GPU with 1792 streaming processors enabled, clocked at 2400MHz. This card also comes with 8GB of GDDR6 memory clocked at 14Gbps on a 128-bit memory bus, providing 27.8MH/s of  Ethereum mining performance at 100W. Once again though, the card can be tuned to improve performance and power consumption.

The Sapphire GPRO X080 reportedly costs Є750, while the X060 model is said to sell for Є550.

KitGuru Says: This is the first time we're hearing about these graphics cards, but it wouldn't shock us if other board partners for both AMD and Nvidia were doing something similar.
