AOC introduces four new high refresh rate curved gaming monitors

AOC is about to launch four new curved gaming monitors featuring high refresh rates, low response times, and FreeSync Premium. The four monitors have similar technical specifications, but the C24G2U/BK and the C27G2U/BK come with more connectivity options and a more ergonomic stand compared to the C24G2AE/BK and the C27G2AE/BK.

The four monitors feature curved (1500R) VA panels with 24 (C24G2AE/BK and C24G2U/BK) and 27 inches (C27G2AE/BK and C27G2U/BK), 1ms response time (MPRT), FullHD resolution, and 165Hz refresh rate. These 8-bit panels feature 178º (H)/178º (V) viewing angles, 250nits of brightness, and a 4000:1 contrast ratio, resulting in a coverage of about 120% of the sRGB colour gamut and 89% of the Adobe RGB colour gamut.

All of these monitors are certified for FreeSync Premium to ensure smoother and tearless gameplay sessions. They also come with 6 colour presets to choose from, depending on what you're playing, and AOC Low Input Lag mode, which reduces the delay in your actions after pressing a button. You can choose one of the 6 colour presets from the OSD or through the G-Menu software, which also allows you to customise other monitor settings.

These monitors feature 2x HDMI 1.4 ports, a DisplayPort 1.2, 1x VGA, an audio-in 3.5mm jack, an audio-out 3.5mm jack, and 2x 2W speakers. Additionally, the C24G2U/BK and the C27G2U/BK also feature a USB hub with 4x USB-A 3.2 ports.

While the C24G2AE/BK and the C27G2AE/BK can only tilt (-4º to 21.5º), the stand of the C24G2U/BK and the C27G2U/BK allows you to adjust the monitor's height by 130mm and swivel it (±35º). There's also 100x100mm VESA support for these four monitors.

These AOC monitors are all available for pre-order at OverclockersUK, with the C24G2AE/BK costing £164.99, the C27G2AE/BK for £219.95, the C24G2U/BK priced at £189.95, and the C27G2U/BK for £234.95.
