Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order goes “gold”

Respawn Entertainment, the developer behind Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, has publicly announced on its official Twitter account that the game has gone “gold”, meaning it is ready to launch.

Still a month away from its release, Star War Jedi: Fallen Order is ready to be played by the public. To celebrate the achievement of going gold, a new pre-order bonus was added to all pre-orders, existing and new: a skin for the Mantis spaceship, which will be used as the main transportation for Cal and his crew.

The new game from Respawn Entertainment is a single-player action-adventure game set after the events from “Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith”, therefore a part of the main Star Wars storyline.

The game shows us what happens after Order 66, the order for the extermination of all the Jedis by identifying them as traitors to the Republic. The protagonist Cal Kestis is “a Jedi Padawan-turned-fugitive”, one of the few Jedis to survive the purge that followed Order 66, aiming to restore the Jedi Order.

The system requirements to play the game on the PC are the following.

Minimum requirements:

  • OS: 64-bit Windows 7/8.1/10
  • CPU: AMD FX-6100 or Intel Core i3-3220
  • RAM: 8GB
  • Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 7750 or Nvidia GeForce GTX 650
  • DirectX 11

Recommended requirements:

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order releases 15th November on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.

KitGuru says: Personally, after the announcement, I wasn't sure what to expect, but as gameplay footage started to show up, I got curious. Let's hope it doesn't prove as controversial as recent games from the series were. What do you expect from Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order? Is it on your wishlist?
