Reported benchmark leak claims RTX 2080Ti performance in games

Nvidia's first batch of RTX 20-series graphics cards will be with us in just a few weeks. We are still awaiting full reviews and benchmarks but in the meantime, we've had several leaks to tide us over. This week, a leaked set of benchmarks for the RTX 2080Ti hit the web, with a slew of big games tested and compared to the GTX 1080Ti.

This particular leak came from the Turkish YouTube channel, PC Hocasi TV. The video went up and was eventually taken down, unfortunately by that point it was too late. Other sites across the web already had the information at hand, preserving it for public viewing.

Going by these early performance numbers, the RTX 2080Ti averages out to be between 35% and 40% better than the Pascal flagship. You can see the claimed benchmark results below (via 3DCenter), all benchmarks were apparently ran in 4K and all results are average frame rates:

 GTX 1080Ti  RTX 2080Ti
Battlefield V  54.5 frames per second  75.2 frames per second
Call of Duty: WWII  50 frames per second  61.1 frames per second
Far Cry 5  44.4 frames per second  68.9 frames per second
For Honor  51.7 frames per second  78.3 frames per second
Grand Theft Auto V  61.5 frames per second  78.2 frames per second
Mass Effect: Andromeda  48.4 frames per second  67.3 frames per second
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds  42.5 frames per second  61.6 frames per second
Rainbow Six: Siege  61.6 frames per second  90.1 frames per second
The Witcher III  44.1 frames per second  56.4 frames per second

Some of these benchmarks do appear dubious. I'm fairly sure a GTX 1080Ti should be capable of handling a higher frame rate in Call of Duty: WWII. Additionally, Battlefield V isn't set to release until late November and the beta doesn't start until later this week, so I'm unsure where exactly this result came from. Due to how early these benchmarks have come out, and the other inconsistencies mentioned, I would take these results with a grain of salt.

KitGuru Says: With Nvidia releasing the RTX 2080Ti straight out of the gate, this is the kind of performance level I would expect. Still these are early days and we don't even know if reviewers have their cards and final drivers yet, so take the current info with a grain of salt.
