Samsung unveils its new F27T85 WQHD 27-inch monitor

Samsung has announced a new 27-inch monitor designed for office work. Expanding its already extensive portfolio of business displays, Samsung's new monitor comes with a sleek design and 1440p resolution.

The Samsung F27T85 comes with a 27-inch PLS panel, with a 2560x1440p resolution, 75Hz of refresh rate, and 4ms of G2G response time. This panel also supports 10-bit colour and has a typical brightness of 350cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 1000:1, and a viewing angle of 178°/178°.

According to PCMonitors, the monitor uses the well-known “dual-stage” or “3-sided borderless” design. The monitor stand is mostly made of plastic, and the OSD is controlled through a joystick, located on the back of the monitor.

Thanks to its HAS stand, the F27T85 can swivel from 45.0º (±2.0) to +45.0º (±2.0), tilt from -5.0º (±2.0) to +24.0º (±2.0), pivot from -2.0º (±2.0) to +92.0º (±2.0), and the height can be adjusted in a 0 – 135 ± 5.0mm range. There's also support for a 100×100 VESA mount on the back of the monitor.

The F27T85 also features flicker-free and Eye saver mode for the sake of the user's eye strain, and supports AMD's FreeSync technology. Additionally, there is 1x HDMI 1.4 port, 1x DisplayPort 1.2, 2x USB 2.0 Type-A ports, 1x USB 3.0 Type-A port, and 1x Audio Out 3.5mm jack.
