Custom-cooled RTX 2060 and RTX 2070 Super graphics cards land in UK

Last week we saw the official launch of NVIDIA's new RTX Super series of graphics cards. Reviews for Founder's Edition versions of the RTX 2060 Super and RTX 2070 Super went live but we have been waiting on news for custom-cooled cards from board partners. Now, the second embargo has lifted and custom RTX Super cards are being made available.

We have already reviewed one custom RTX 2070 Super- the MSI Gaming X Trio, which is priced at £569.99. However, looking at Overclockers UK, there are much cheaper options available. The ASUS RTX 2070 SUPER DUAL EVO OC for instance has the highest out of the box clock speed available at Founder's Edition pricing (£475). The Gigabyte Windforce RTX 2070 Super also has a decent price tag, currently sitting at £499.99.

If you want something a bit higher-end, then we have been informed that the Asus Strix and Gigabyte Aorus RTX 2070 Super cards are actually based on the RTX 2080 PCB, so these ones can seemingly overclock better than some other models.

The RTX 2060 Super starts at £375 for a custom-cooled card, with more expensive models like the RTX 2060 Super ROG Strix coming in at £479.99. There are plenty of options sitting in between those two price points though, including the £379.99 ASUS RTX 2060 Super Dual EVO OC, the Inno3D RTX 2060 Super Twin at £379.99, the Gigabyte RTX 2060 Super Windforce at £409.99 and the MSI RTX 2060 Super Gaming X at £449.99.

Each custom variant of the RTX 2060 Super and RTX 2070 Super will come with slightly different specs but as a refresher, here is what the reference, Founder's Edition GPUs come with:

Depending on the card, you will get different out of the box overclock speeds. The MSI Gaming X Trio for instance has a factory overclock that pushes RTX 2070 Super speeds up to 1800MHz and additional tweaking will allow you to push clock speeds higher while the custom cooler maintains temperatures.

You can find the current list of RTX 2070 Super GPUs available in the UK, HERE. For the RTX 2060 Super, you will want to head HERE.

KitGuru Says: The first RTX Super series GPUs are now available to buy, with Founder's Edition cards coming straight from Nvidia and custom-cooled variants available at retailers. Are any of you planning to upgrade to a new GPU this year?
