GTX 1080s are starting to drop back below £500

Over the last few months, getting hold of a graphics card upgrade has been difficult for many. Crypto miners have been eating up supply and prices for regular consumers shot up. Fortunately, it looks like things might be starting to improve with GTX 1080 prices dropping back down to normal levels.

Over at Overclockers UK, there are currently several GTX 1080 cards currently at £499.99 or less. The very popular MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X for instance can be had for £499.99, though stock is currently incoming. MSI's GTX 1080 Armour edition is also currently going for a decent price, sitting at £469.99 and currently in stock. Palit's Jetstream and Dual GTX 1080s are going for under £500, and the Inno3D HerculeZ Twin is also priced at £499 at the moment.

Prices at Amazon UK are currently still on the flaky side, one of Gigabyte's GTX 1080s can be found for £479.99, but aside from that, you are still looking at spending over £500 and in some cases, over £600 for a GTX 1080.

Novatech currently has stock of the MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X for £499.99. In all, if any of you have been waiting to pick up a GTX 1080, there are some pretty good options floating around right now. Prices are accurate at the time of publishing, things could change over the next couple of days.

KitGuru Says: We don't know how long these prices will stick around for, but hopefully this opens the door for a few eager PC gamers to get their upgrades in. Have any of you been waiting for price drops to start coming in? Let us know if you end up grabbing a new GPU.
