Acer has started shipping its ConceptD CP7271K P professional monitor after initially debuting it earlier this year. The ConceptD CP2721K P offers 4K Ultra HD resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, Nvidia G-sync technology and HDR1000.
Acer has officially started shipping the unit which was first announced at an annual press event back in April and featured other devices in the ConceptD range. Pricing in the U.S is set at $2998 for this high spec professional display. The Acer ConceptD CP7271k P offers some great features for professional developers of fast-paced colour-critical HDR content.
The key highlights of the CP7271k P are a 4k ultra HD resolution display with 144 Hz refresh rate supporting Nvidia G-Sync Ultimate variable refresh rate technology. The panel also features VESA’s DisplayHDR 1000 and Pantone Validated certifications.
To ensure the best representation of colour critical workloads the Acer ConceptD Cp7271K P uses a premium 27-inch IPS panel with 3840×2160 resolution featuring 600 nits native brightness and 1000 nits peak HDR brightness, a 4ms (G to G) response time, 178° viewing angle and 1000:1 contrast ratio. The panel supports variable refresh rate up to 120 Hz which is overclockable to 144 Hz and comes factory calibrated to a delta <1 accuracy.
The Acer concept CP7271K P is capable of reproducing 99% of the AdobeRGB range, 93% of the DCI-P3 colour space and is Pantone Validated. The monitor also carries the VESA Display1000 logo so it must feature 1000 nits peak brightness and at least 0.05/0.10 nits black.
As far as connectivity is concerned the CP7271K P offers single DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 inputs with a five-port USB 3.0 HUB and 2x integrated 4w speakers. The stand supports full tilt and swivel adjustment and the monitor can be wall-mounted on a VESA compatible mount.
The ConceptD CP7271K P can be purchased direct from the Acer store for a modest price tag of $2998 with a similar CP3271K P 32-inch monitor available for $1298
