HTC Q3 income exceeds $360 million

It has been a fantastic year for smartphone manufacturer HTC as their net profits have surpassed the $360 million mark for Q3 2010. This time last year it was only $175 million, according to the company.

The good news is not set to stop anytime soon however as market watchers expect HTC to enjoy a further 20-25% revenue growth in the fourth quarter of 2010. Estimates show that almost 9 million smartphones could ship in the last quarter an increase of almost 2 million when compared to the Q3 results.

Much of the growth for HTC is due to an exciting range of quality phones which have captured the imagination of the discerning audience. The HTC Evo 4G has been a huge success for the company this year and the HTC Desire HD is due to further enhance their standing in the market.
