Nokia Flame to be a low-end Windows Phone 8 device

Following the announcement of the two upper tier models, the Lumia 920 and 820, from Nokia last week, rumours have started to surround the tier down from these devices. The Nokia Flame is rumoured to be a 4 inch low to mid range Windows Phone 8 device.

Considering the upper tier Lumia 820 has a WVGA display, the same will likely apply to the 4 inch Flame. Other known specifications include a 1.0 GHz dual-core processor, 512 MB of RAM, 5 MP camera, 4 GB of internal storage and a MicroSD slot.

The Nokia Flame has already been labelled as a Lumia 710 replacement so chances are it will be rather attractive in terms of price. It is set for release sometime in the first quarter of 2013.

KitGuru says: Solid low-end devices is what Windows Phone 8 will need to break double digital marketshare, a feat Windows Phone 7 has failed to achieve.
