Walk with dinosaurs from 26th December

Firework displays are good, but even if you spend £30 on an air-bomb battery of some kind, it's all over in a few seconds and the impression is rarely lasting. If you invest £10,000,000 on an event, you can bet your life that it will give you memories that will last a lifetime. KitGuru sticks a poster of Laura Dern on it's bedroom wall.

Originally a BBC 6-part mini series that began to air in 1999, Kenneth Branagh's dulcet narration tones helped spawn something quite special.

Laura looks at a dinosaur. Squats down in her shorts. Next thing you know: Horny.

Spurred on by Australian experts (entertainment and historical), Walking with Dinosaurs was transformed into a live show at the start of 2007. It then toured for almost 4 years, before finally being shelved. At the end of that tour, the show had visited 206 cities and played to an audience of more than 7 million people. Blimey.

Well, guess what?

With even more technology packed into each part of the show than ever before, the Walking with Dinosaurs live extravaganza is back on the London stage – starting on Boxing Day, 26th December, for a very limited run.

If you fancy the idea of being ‘terrified where you sit' by up to 20 life-sized robotic monsters, then this is the show for you. Searching the interwibble, we managed to find a shot of a man walking in front of the monsters which gives you a great idea of scale.

Tickets are available from this web site.

KitGuru says: Watch em walk, hear em roar – you and another 7 million dino lovers will be back for more. Walking, roaring robots the size of houses? It's a winner.
