Aria wants YOU to design its Xmas banner

Every year, designers up and down the country are tasked with creating a 728×90 or 300×250 banner that is so amazing, innovative and funky – that no tech-lover can ignore it. It's a touch challenge and one that Aria would like some KitGuru-reader help with .If you own a copy of Photoshop, read on.

If you think you know EXACTLY what a 780 x 150 banner should look like in order to maximise the click-through action on Aria‘s site this Xmas, then you're invited to put your skills to the test.

For the 3rd place entry, Aria is making an 8GB set of Corsair Vengeance memory available. Second place will collect a 120GB Mushkin Chronos SSD drive and the overall winner will not only see their design placed in front of 700,000 people – they will also collect a multi-award winning 24″ Dell UltraSharp IPS monitor!

Previous year's entrants can be seen here.

You have until 14th December to entry the competition and, remember, it needs to be 780 pixels wide and 150 pixels high.

To enter, please visit  http://forums.aria.co.uk/showthread.php/118077-It-s-that-time-of-Year-Again!-Christmas-Forum-Banner!

We had a crack earlier ourselves and we're very pleased with the results. Maybe if we enter this under an assumed email address, Aria won't notice where it came from and we can win something cool…
