AntiSec claim to have hacked military based server

AntiSec, a well known hacking group claim to have broken into a military server and have made off with thousands of email addresses and passwords. This marks the latest in a long list of attacks of government and high profile businesses.

According to reports, 90,000 email addresses were compromised, including a long list of passwords. AntiSec are well known in underground circles and are said to comprise members of both Anonymouse and LulzSec, who have recently disbanded. They claim to have breached a network run by Booz Allen Hamilton Inc through a server which was unprotected.

AntiSec posted a statement online which read “We infiltrated a server on their network that basically had no security measures in place. We were able to run our own application…and began plundering some booty.”

Booz Allen have yet to confirm the attack but they used their Twitter feed to post a statement which read “We generally do not comment on specific threats or actions taken against our systems.”
