Vodafone Curve tracks your valuable possessions

A new smart tracker launched by Vodafone this week helps you locate the things most valuable to you while being lightweight, versatile and affordable. The Curve tracker is the company’s latest addition to its IoT range.

Until recently, Vodafone relied on trusted manufacturers from around the world to expand its IoT product stack, but a change of strategy means that the new curve tracker from Vodafone is designed and manufactured by the company itself. It is a multipurpose tracking device that helps users find valuables such as keys, laptops bags and even cars.

“The launch of Curve highlights the focus the team has on creating pioneering smart tech and digital experiences with seamless user experience at the core,” said Tom Guy, Chief Product Officer, at Vodafone Consumer. “Our research showed how vital it was to create a product that was as intuitive as it was versatile – allowing users to keep track of belongings and stay connected to what matters most.”

Vodafone’s new Curve tracker is a small lightweight device that contains a built-in SIM to keep the tracker connected while on the move. The Curve uses four different tracking technologies including GPS, Wi-Fi, Cellular and Bluetooth, making it more reliable at tracking users’ possessions. Even though the device is small, it can offer up to seven days of battery power and provides a versatile way of keeping track of what matters.

According to Vodafone, the Curve is the first in a new range of smart tech products due to be unveiled by the company in the coming months. The Vodafone Curve tracker is available to purchase now directly from the Vodafone online shop with an upfront cost of £20 and a subscription fee of just £2 per month for 24 months or £3 for 12 months.
