Cyberpunk 2077 stability has reached ‘a satisfactory level’

Earlier this month, Cyberpunk 2077 was finally welcomed back onto the PlayStation Store and Microsoft's extended refund policy for the game will soon be lifted. Now, CD Projekt Red has discussed the state of the game, which the studio now considers to have reached a “satisfactory level”.

Speaking with Polish news outlet, TVN24, CD Projekt Red CEO, Adam Kiciński, was asked about the stability of Cyberpunk 2077 after months of patches, to which he replied: “We have already achieved a satisfactory level in this regard. We have also been working on the overall efficiency, which we are also quite happy about. Of course, we also removed bugs and glitches, and we will continue to do that.”

Kiciński added that the team is also looking to introduce improvements to “the general systems that players are paying attention to”. With that in mind, we can expect some gameplay tweaks in the future as CD Projekt moves on from bug fixes and onto additional game content.

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to get a next-gen console upgrade patch later this year. The game is also supposed to start getting free DLC this year, followed by larger game expansions.

KitGuru Says: Cyberpunk 2077 has certainly improved since launch, but to get people back in, CD Projekt Red is really going to need to start announcing new content. Hopefully we can get an updated roadmap on that over the summer.
