Fractal Design has been designing all-in-one liquid coolers for years now. We first saw the Celsius series some time ago but now, the blackout version has arrived, delivering all of the features you would expect from high-end liquid cooler in a uniform all-black colour scheme.

As with any Fractal Design product, silence is a key factor here. Sound dampening materials are used in addition to quiet fans to ensure the AIO never gets too loud but also keeps the CPU running safely. The fans being used here are Fractal Design Dynamic X2 PWM fans, which have a range of 500 RPM up to 2000 RPM, so you can have ultra-quiet operation in low-load scenarios and then crank things up if you need to.

The Celsius has its own integrated fan hub with concealed cable routing for clean installation. The radiator fittings are all standard G 1/4” too, so you can easily swap out the tubing, or expand your liquid cooling to other components.

The Celsius Blackout series contains two different products. The Celsius S24 will be £105 and feature a 240mm radiator. The S36 is £120 and has a 360mm radiator. These should be available at retail imminently.

KitGuru Says: We were impressed by the original Celsius cooler and this new Blackout edition will appeal to another wide audience who want stealthy hardware without fancy lighting.
