Over the last few years, some esports teams have transitioned from endorsing specific peripherals to designing their own. Ninjas in Pyjamas was amongst the first teams to do this with the launch of ‘Xtrfy'. In 2017, we saw the first Xtrfy gaming headset, which appeared to be inspired by the HyperX Cloud IIs. Now, the company's second gaming headset has launched, boasting a number of improvements.

The Xtrfy H2 Pro gaming headset changes the overall design slightly, with a stealthier colour scheme, larger ear cups, thicker memory foam cushions and a new microphone and controller. The headphones use 53mm Neodymium drivers, which should provide decent sound across the board.

As we saw with the Xtrfy H1, the headset frame is aluminium, adding to build quality and rigidity. Memory foam padding on the headband and ear cups will ensure comfort for long gaming sessions. The in-line controller is attached to a fully braided cable and gives you quick access to headphone and microphone volume, as well as a mute switch.

We ended up giving the H1 a ‘Worth Considering' award in our review last year. It will be interesting to see the H2 in action and dive into the improvements made. Although if you are already interested in the headset, then you'll be able to pick it up from Overclockers UK for £79.99.
