Today at CES, Leo and Briony stopped by to check out all of the new gear coming from Deepcool and Gamerstorm, including all new cases, all-in-one liquid coolers and the return of the Assassin air cooler, which is absolutely massive.

First up we have the new Gamerstorm all-in-one liquid coolers. We previously saw the Captain and Castle at Computex but they are returning today, complete with RGB for the fans and CPU block. The Castle is a 360mm AIO with a rather large CPU block, meanwhile the Captain Pro is a 240mm AIO, with a smaller CPU block and a clear tube running into it so that you can see the coolant flowing through.

Next up is a brand new Deepcool case known as the ‘MACUBE 550', which isn't really shaped like a cube, but still appears to be quite nice. There is a black and white version, with the former costing $109.99 and the latter sitting at $119.99. Both are planned to be available in June this year, complete with dual-drive supporting caddies, a magnetic tempered glass side panel etc. We will hopefully be reviewing this later in the year, so stay tuned for more on that.

The Matrexx 55 is a revision of the budget $65 case, which now comes with added RGB fans. While the case itself is cheap, it still supports a solid list of features, including E-ATX motherboards, a tempered glass side/front panel, support for up to 360mm radiators in the front and up to a 280mm radiator in the top.

Deepcool is also coming out with new accessories, including new MF120S RGB fans, a vertical GPU mounting bracket and even an RGB GPU support bracket for horizontal graphics cards. We've seen similar products before, with the basic idea being that one of these will keep your GPU straight and eliminate any sagging.

Finally the Deepcool Assassin III is a new, dual-heatsink air cooler that can tame CPUs up to 280 watts in power draw. It is truly massive and honestly looks a lot like two separate air coolers mashed together. There are three fans included but unfortunately, this cooler is currently reserved for Intel sockets, with no present plans to produce a Threadripper version.

In terms of performance, we saw this cooler on top of a Core i9-9900K running at 5GHz. If you look closely at the video above, you'll be able to see the temperature readings under load. Right now, we are expecting this cooler to launch in May, with a price tag of $100, making it one of the more expensive air coolers on the market.

KitGuru Says: We have plenty more CES coverage left to get through so stay tuned for more announcements and unveilings straight from the show floor.
