Lian Li has announced updated and improved versions of its motorised standing desk PC. The new DK-04F and DK-05F offer more control over system fans and RGB lighting compared to the previous versions and are equipped with a new switchable glass top panel.

The new Lian Li DK-04F and DK-05F include a glass top panel that can reveal the inside of the desk by a simple flick of a switch, which also turns the glass opaque to allow the user to concentre more at what is on screen. The case/desk combos are available as dual or single system solutions and are capable of housing full custom loop water cooling setups inside.

Both desks are constructed from premium aluminium and offer a heavy and sturdy feel with height adjustment from silent and powerful motorised legs. Height adjustment has four different pre-set configurations that are accessible via a built-in, quick access control panel. Users can quickly choose between height of 689mm at its lowest point and up to 1175mm maximum height to allow for use in a standing position.

The switchable top glass panel is manufactured from 8mm thick tempered glass with a G button to switch from glossy to transparent instantly. Both desks include a removable motherboard tray that can house MINI-ITX, up to E-ATX motherboards, the DK-05F can host dual systems while the DK-04F is designed for a single system rig. Removable drive bays for 3.5-inch and 2.5-inch HDDs are included in both desks and there is 185mm height clearance for graphics cards and CPU coolers.

Front panel I/O includes controls for system lighting, noise levels, visibility and height. A fan control button offers four pre-sets to allow fans to fun at full speed or in a silent operating mode with different colours to depict the current mode. An RGB button allows users to switch between seven lighting modes or to synchronise with the motherboard, the front panel also includes a single USB 3.1 Type-C port and 3.5mm HD Audio jacks on the DK-05F.

Both desks are available to purchase now, the DK-04F will set you back a cool $1,499 USD and the DK-05F is priced at $1,999 USD.

KitGuru says: These case desk combos from Lian Li look pretty amazing to me, what do you guys think of them? Would you buy one if you had the cash to splash?
