Update July 1 2021: Base Camp now supports OBS integration for the Everest Max. You can read more about the update HERE.

Pros:

  • Modular design, place the numpad or media dock almost anywhere you’d like.
  • Everything is included with the Everest Max, no need to purchase add-ons.
  • Hot-swappable switches – one of each Cherry MX variant is included for you to test.
  • Much better value in comparison to Corsair’s K100, Nexus & Stream Deck Mini.
  • Excellent packaging and presentation.
  • Premium quality dual-aluminium plate design with CNC machining.
  • Keyboard feels very solid.
  • Excellent to type on with consistent feel across the board.
  • Cherry stabilisers, Krytox lubricant and clipped feet for better actuation feel.
  • Dampening foam minimises noise.
  • Software is very easy to use, especially for assigning actions to the numpad’s control screens.
  • Media dock control wheel is very handy with great options.

Cons:

  • Plastic control dial on the media dock feels cheap and wobbles.
  • Numpad’s connection could lead to damage over time to the USB-C connector.
  • Our model’s media dock didn’t align perfectly with the top right connection port.
  • No PBT keycaps.

KitGuru says: This is Mountain’s first ever keyboard and they definitely haven't started off small! We think they’ve done a stellar job at covering all bases at a much more affordable price when compared to Corsair’s K100, Nexus & Stream Deck Mini. It has some issues but overall, we think it’s worth buying.
