Following on from fan feedback, HYTE is now releasing its Y40 case in all-white form, giving customers the choice between the original black and white model and the new Snow Edition. Alongside the new case is the white version of the CNVS extra-large mouse mat.

The Y40 Snow White case showcases a white interior and exterior, offering a clean and sleek look compared to the previously available white and black version. To enhance the overall design, the Y40 Snow White comes equipped with two all-white FE12 fans pre-installed. Furthermore, the front and side panels of the case feature clear tempered glass, replacing the tinted panels found in the previous iteration.

On the other hand, the CNVS Snow White Intense Play Mat features an all-white top surface, providing a lighter colour option for users who prefer a brighter aesthetic. Hyte's Nexus software allows users to customise the continuous ARGB lighting around the CNVS mat. With Nexus, users can synchronise the lighting effects to screen mirroring, rhythmic beats, system performance, and more.

The Y40 Snow White case and the CNVS Snow White Intense Play Mat are available for pre-order in the US and Canada through hyte.com. Global availability is expected in July. The chassis is priced at $149.99, and the mousepad at $119.99.

EK is well known for its custom water loop components, but the company now wants to expand into other markets. The new line of products will be named EK Loot, and for now, it will only feature mouse pads. In the future, more products will be added to the EK Loot series.

EK will start by releasing five mouse pads, one grey and four black. All mouse mats are made of low-friction fabric, offering exceptional tracking performance for both optical and laser mice. Design-wise, the pads have a minimalistic look with a small EK logo on the bottom right corner. Moreover, all of them have a non-slip rubber base to prevent them from moving when sliding the mouse and anti-fray stitching around the whole perimeter to avoid damage to the edges.

Regardless of the format, all mats are 3mm thick. The grey mouse pad is only available in a large format (900x400mm). The black ones will come in small (240x200mm), medium (600x300mm), large and extra large sizes (1220x600mm).

EK Loot mouse pads are now available at the EK Store. The Black S model goes for €8.90, the Black M costs €19.90, and the Black XL is priced at €44.90. The Black and Gray L mats are priced at €34.90.

If you're an ardent fan of World of Warships, then this announcement may just be for you. That's because Polish peripheral manufacturer, Genesis, has teamed up with World of Warships to offer two new mousepads, each with a special warship theme.

Available in two sizes – 300 x 250mm or 900 x 450mm – Genesis has announced two distinct designs for World of Warships fans. The first is the Carbon 500S WOWS Armada, while there is also a Błyskawica design as well.

In addition to the mousepad itself, each purchase comes with various codes for World of Warships, which Genesis claims will redeem ‘attractive in-game bonuses'.

The actual pads themselves are made from fabric, with a stitched edge and rubber base. Genesis also states that the mousepad upper layer is waterproof, so if you're prone to spilling things on your desk, you can rest easy knowing your World of Warships-themed mousepad should be OK.

As for pricing, the smaller size is very affordable at €4.99/$5.99, while the desk-size matt is a bit pricier at €19.99/$21.99.

Back in 2020, Asus and IKEA announced a partnership to design gaming furniture. Although the first piece of the gaming line of products is scheduled to be announced on January 29th, Ikea has uploaded the images of most products to the website, leaking the line-up early.

The pictures shared by @momomo_us and @iamgotta seems to show most of the products from Ikea and Asus line of gaming furniture. Most of the products are ROG-themed, featuring ROG logos and LEDs, and are coloured in black, grey, or white with red or blue accents.

As per the pictures, Ikea will launch 3x gaming chairs. One is black and has a meshed back and red iron arms. There's another black chair that looks more similar to the usual gaming chair, using PU black leather and blue stitching. The last chair seems to feature a more ergonomic design, coloured in white with blue accents.

There will also be 3x gaming desk models – one comes in black with either red or blue accents, and another could either be black or white and the height can be manually adjusted. The last gaming desk looks very similar to Ikea Skarsta stand/sit desk, but comes in black and with ROG-themed legs and a controller to adjust the height.

Besides the gaming desks and chairs, there's also a gaming floor mat, pegboards with LEDs, and a chest of drawers. Other pieces belonging to this line of products include a cup holder, a transformative pillow, headset holders, a mousepad, a poster, a LED light ring, and a movable computer base.

The pricing of some of these products has been revealed within the pictures. For example, the Uppspel chest of drawers will be priced at ¥599 (£67.58), the Uppspel pegboard at ¥198 (£22.34), and the Uppspel gaming desk at ¥3999 (£451.19).

KitGuru says: For now, most of this stuff is going to be sold in China, but there is a chance that some of it makes its way to western markets. What do you all think of Asus's collaboration with Ikea? Is there anything here you would buy?

With the continued demand for RGB components and peripherals there doesn't seem to be any end to what manufacturers will ‘RGB'. With both keyboards and mice sporting synchronisable lighting the next logical accessory to receive this treatment would be your mousepad. Cooler Masters new MP860 incorporates fully customizable lighting and synchronisation available with other Cooler Master portal supported products. Priced at £79.99 it also features both cloth and aluminium reversible surfaces, but does the addition of RGB lighting justify this premium price?

Alongside the MP860, the CM310 mouse also deserves a look. Designed with the budget gamer in mind it also features RGB lighting with 5 modes to choose from. Currently priced around £29.99 is it the best mouse to get you started?

As the results of KitGuru's recent online poll has shown, a whopping 93% of you are PC gaming aficionados – masters of the keyboard and mouse on a decent PC. Our latest KitGuru Labs test focuses on the connection between mouse and desk. The all important mousepad. Sticky fingers need not apply.

If you prefer a mousepad with integrated wrist support, then this product is not for you. Likewise, if you want a rock solid surface, then Roccat is not aiming the Siru at you. This mousepad has ‘give'.

The result is a mousepad that offers a decent amount of deskspace over which to manoeuvre, with the tiniest amount of additional comfort. Upshot? The Roccat Siru is not aiming to be a ‘drag' on your motion.

According to Roccat's own web site, the Siru is ‘knife-edge thin. Given that it is less than 0.5mm deep, that must make it one of the thinnest mousepads ever created. We've all seen mousepads that fray and fall apart – something which Roccat is trying to counter with a ‘single layer' manufacturing approach.

Roccat-Siru-Mouse-Mat-Review-KitGuru-Promo-Shot

Available in Cryptic Blue or Pitch Black, Roccat claims that this product is perfect for all laser and optical mice.

Roccat scientists have tried 80 so far without a fail.

Size-wise, it measures 340mm x 250mm x 0.45mm and, according to Roccat, the superior glide surface gives ultra-precise control – eliminating over/under-aim.

It's no fun lunging for a shot, only to have your mousepad follow you along the table. The underside of this mousepad has a patterned non-slip material to try and eliminate that issue.

Lastly, in case you find gaming too exciting, the surface is ‘easy clean'. Nice.
