Chapter 4 of Fortnite recently went live, bringing with it new engine and graphics improvements, an updated map and as always, additional crossover characters. Following the inclusion of the DOOMSLAYER. My Hero Academia and Isaac Clarke from Dead Space are next to drop onto the Fortnite island.

Following a subtle tease during the Chapter 4 launch cinematic, it has now been officially confirmed that characters from the My Hero Academia anime will be joining the fray, with Epic Games taking to Twitter to say “Fear not… My Hero Academia arrives 12.16.2022.”

Little else was revealed so far, and so we do not yet know whether this crossover will purely include new skins, or whether like Dragon Ball before it, more gameplay altering inclusions will be made. Fortunately, we won’t have to wait long to find out.

That is not all however, as though not yet officially announced, Insider Gaming has reported that Isaac Clarke – the protagonist of the Dead Space series – will also be added at some point soon. According to their sources, the collab will begin on the 23rd of January, just a few short days ahead of the Dead Space remake (27th of January 2023).

NZXT's limited edition CRFT series cases have mainly focused on video game themes, but now, NZXT is getting inspiration from other areas too. Back in April, we saw the first anime-themed CRFT chassis, taking on a My Hero Academia theme. Now, there is a second edition My Hero Academia case, featuring a different design and different characters.

The first My Hero Academia case featured the character All Might front and centre. For the second case, NZXT has gone with a Rivals theme, featuring Deku and Bakugo:

You can get a good look at the case from all angles in the gallery above. As with other NZXT CRFT cases, the case comes with a themed puck, which can be used to hang your headphones, as well as a charm.

Other features of the case include a pre-installed RGB LED strip, a built-in GPU mounting bracket and the integrated RGB and Fan controller. As a limited edition case though, it does fall on the expensive side of things, priced at £199.99/$249.99.

My Hero Academia is one of the hottest animes currently, with the franchise seeing more than 100 episodes released on TV, and 3 theatrical international film releases. The IP is now attempting to find success in the free-to-play market, as a My Hero Academia battle royale has now been announced.

As reported by Comicbook.com, a new My Hero Academia game is on its way. While the previous two titles were traditional arena fighters, this latest game will be a free-to-play battle royale game.

Titled My Hero Academia Ultra Rumble, the game is a 24 player team based battle royale (with 8 teams of 3) in which teammates must combine their different and unique abilities to win the game. Along the way, players can pick up skill cards, improving the character’s abilities and techniques.

So far, 12 characters have been announced, though more will reportedly be available. These 12 characters are: Midoriya, Bakugo, Todoroki, Asui, Uraraka, All Might, Cementoss, Mt. Lady, Shigaraki, Dabi, Toga, and Mr. Compress.

Alongside the announcement, Bandai Namco showed off some gameplay,  revealing what looks like a very Bandai Namco-quality title – though it does admittedly look quite fun. Currently, no release date has been announced, but a Japan-only beta test will be going live sometime in early February.

My Hero Academia Ultra Rumble will be coming to PlayStation 4; Xbox One; Nintendo Switch; and PC via Steam.

Super Smash Bros Ultimate might be the most talked about brawler at the moment, but that doesn’t mean Jump Force fans are being left behind. Despite a lack of representation during the beta, it turns out My Hero Academia’s main character Izuku Midoriya will be included in the game after all.

While Naruto, Dragon Ball, One Piece and Bleach were all adequately represented in Spike Chunsoft’s anime crossover during the beta, My Hero Academia was noticeably missing from the roster. Even Yu-Gi-Oh’s Yugi Moto managed to make the cut.

It’s commonly believed that the release of My Hero One’s Justice, also known as My Hero Academia: One's Justice prevented the series from being represented in Jump Force’s marketing material. Having released in Japan on August 23rd and in the West on October 26th, My Hero One’s Justice has now passed its critical sales period, which in turn opens up a number of options for My Hero Academia students and teachers to make their way into Jump Force.

The latest issue of Weekly Jump reveals that Izuku Midoriya, also known by his hero title Deku will be first in his series to step into the crossover fighter. It has yet to be revealed whether Deku will sport his unique shoot style or not, but his inclusion leaves room for fan favourites such as All Might, Bakugo and (pretty please) Gran Torino, should Jump Force fans be so lucky.

Elsewhere, publisher Bandai Namco revealed in V-Jump that Boa Hancock from One Piece, Trunks from Dragon Ball, and Renji Abarai from Bleach have all made it into the final roster.

Jump Force lands in Japan on February 14, 2019 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Fortunately, international fans only have to wait one extra day, as the crossover fighting game launches February 15, 2019 for PS4, Xbox One and PC.

KitGuru Says: A fighting game featuring some of anime’s iconic characters brawling it out would feel a little lost without My Hero Academia, especially since the series is rather popularity worldwide. Are you happy to see Izuku Midoriya in Jump Force?
