The Raijintek Arcadia line of PC cases has received a much-needed update to match today's PC case trends. Now featuring a front mesh panel, with the option of a tempered glass or solid side panel, the Arcadia III is a compact ATX case that, like its predecessors, should come at an affordable price.

Despite being relatively compact compared to most ATX cases (210×410×485mm WxDxH), the Raijintek Arcadia III can accommodate up to 165mm CPU coolers, 360mm AIO liquid coolers in the front, and 240/280mm radiators on top. Furthermore, it supports graphics cards up to 365mm in length and 220mm long ATX PSUs, which should be enough for most mid-range builds.

Fan support is quite extensive, allowing you to mount up to 2x 120/140mm fans on the top panel, up to 3x 120/140mm front fans, up to 2x bottom 120mm fans (above the PSU shroud), and a rear 120mm fan (included). Supported motherboard form factors include ATX, M-ATX, and Mini-ITX. Besides the power and reset buttons, the top I/O has a USB-A 3.0 port, 2x USB-A 2.0 ports, and an HD Audio jack.

The Arcadia III comes with either a solid or a tempered glass left-side panel. Both models come with dust filters covering the top, bottom and front panels. Storage options include two 3.5-inch drive bays and three 2.5-inch drive bays.

The post Raijintek Scylla Elite CA360 Review first appeared on KitGuru.]]>
Raijintek Scylla Elite CA360 is a custom loop cooling kit for your CPU that will help you step up from a regular AIO to high end liquid cooling. The kit includes a copper radiator, DDC pump/reservoir and a CPU block and can later be expanded to include your graphics card. Today, we're putting it through its paces to find out whether or not you should buy one.

The Raijintek Scylla Elite CA360 at a glance:

  • Complete set of components for CPU water cooling
  • High quality materials such as copper and nickel
  • Integrated RGB
  • RGB easily controllable via bundled remote control
  • Modular design for easy upgrades

The key components included in the Raijintek Scylla Elite CA360 kit are the Antila DDC Evo RBW pump/reservoir, the Forkis Elite RBW CPU block Raijintek Forkis Elite RBW and the 360mm Calore CA360 radiator. It took us a while to figure out that RBW is Raijintek's take on RainBoW lighting and is another way of saying 5V ARGB.

We decided to use the Fractal Design Torrent case to house the Raijintek cooling hardware as Fractal supplies some accessory brackets that allow you to replace the stock 180mm fans with 120mm or 140mm units. This allowed us to install the Calore CA360 radiator at the front of the case which in turn meant the Raijintek Scylla Elite had superb air flow.

As you will see in our video we had a couple of gripes about details of the installation however the end result looked good and the Fractal Design Torrent showed off the ARGB lighting to good effect.

Testing and Performance

To put the cooling setup through its paces we will be using a test system consisting of an AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, AMD RX 6800 XT and an SSD. This system allows us to produce a substantial amount of heat and effectively test the Raijintek Scylla Elite CA360‘s cooling capabilities.

Test System:

  • Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 3900X (12 cores/24 threads, 4.0GHz all cores)
  • Thermal compound: Arctic MX-5
  • Motherboard: Asus TUF Gaming X570-Plus
  • Memory: 32GB G.Skill TridentZ Neo DDR4-3600
  • Graphics card: Sapphire RX 6800 XT 16GB
  • Case: Fractal Design Torrent
  • Power supply: Fractal Design Ion+ 2 Platinum 860W
  • SSD: 500GB Sabrent Rocket 4.0 M.2 NVMe
  • OS: Windows 10

Custom Loop Cooling

  • Pump/Reservoir: Raijintek Antila DDC Evo RBW
  • CPU Block: Raijintek Forkis Elite RBW
  • Radiator: Raijintek Calore CA360 360mm radiator 27mm thick
  • Radiator fans: Triple pack Raijintek EOS 12 PWM fans with RGB controller
  • Fittings: 6x Raijintek
  • Soft Tube: Raijintek Raitubo soft tubing
  • Coolant: Raijintek Raiaqua-T1 Clear

Cooling Performance

Cooling Performance Overview

Swapping out the Noctua NH-D15 cooler and stock 180mm fans for the Raijintek Scylla Elite CA360 kit yielded impressive results. CPU temperature remained the same at 77 degrees C however our graphics card temperature dropped by an impressive six degrees C, thanks to improved air flow.

Closing Thoughts

The fundamentals of the Raijintek Scylla Elite CA360 are sound, although there are annoying details. We don't much like the names of the various parts – Antila, Forkis, Calore and Raitubo – however that is a minor complaint brought on by saying the names out loud many times while making the video.

We also have an issue with this kit being called Scylla Elite when it is clear the Scylla Pro lives further up the product tree. Generally speaking we prefer a D5 pump for heavy lifting but the DDC in this Elite kit did a fine job and blasted the air from the system in moments.

Once we had installed the pump/reservoir on the radiator we found the rest of the build fell into place. The cabling for the three fans and the RGB lighting was slightly messy, however the Raijintek hub which is mounted on a magnetic plate helped the cause and kept everything under control.

When we started up the test PC we had the usual moments of sound and fury as the air rushed out of the system but it settled down very quickly and after that it behaved perfectly. The fans and pump were quiet, the coolant circulated swiftly but without cavitation, the ARGB lighting looked good and the cooling worked very well.

It is currently out of stock, but the Scylla Elite kit should cost £279.95 from Overclockers UK HERE.

Discuss on our Facebook page HERE.

Pros:

  • Effective CPU cooling.
  • Decent quality CPU block and pump/reservoir.
  • ARGB lighting works well.
  • Low noise levels.

Cons:

  • You don’t get any angled fittings.
  • Pump/reservoir mounts are restrictive.
  • Power supply jumper is not included.
  • Price looks steep.

KitGuru says: Raijintek Scylla Elite CA360 is decent but doesn't quite live up to the name Elite.

The post Raijintek ORCUS 240 Liquid CPU Cooler Review first appeared on KitGuru.]]>
When it comes to coolers, Raijintek has always done things a little differently and the Orcus 240 is no exception. Compared to other AIO liquid coolers available the Orcus 240's CPU block features a small porthole window through which you can see a liquid flow indicator, certainly a useful inclusion to ensure everything is running smoothly, and the pump, rather than being installed in either the block, or the radiator is in line, running midway down the tubing.

The Orcus 240 is also maintainable, with an inlet for topping up the coolant which really sets it apart from the competition but following similar current trends still comes complete with RGB fans, and RGB LEDs built into the CPU block. Priced at £89.99 you do seem to get quite a bit of bang for your buck, but it will be really interesting to see if these unique features actually aid in performance or functionality, or if there’s a reason Raijintek is the only manufacturer implementing them.

Specification:

  • Model: ORCUS 240
  • Radiator Material: Aluminum
  • Radiator Dimensions: 272 × 120 x 27mm

While built with the intention of reducing the footprint of users, the decreased size of Small Form Factor (SFF) cases often meant cooling would take a hit. Raijintek has challenged this notion with its thermal-focused Ophion and Ophion EVO chassis, the latter of which supports AIO watercooling.

Both cases sport a near-identical design, with a clever dual-chamber design that separates the motherboard from the graphics card, housing them back to back. This is made possible with the included 250mm PCIe 16x Gen 3 Riser cable, ensuring efficient and effective cooling of all components.

Users can showcase the motherboard or GPU however they wish, as Raijintek has placed 3mm thick glass panels on each side. Alongside cooling from three 120mm fans, users can optionally add the provided spacers to remove the glass panels from their flush fit against the case, in turn creating a better airflow.

Within the black, brushed, anodised aluminium frame, both the Ophion and Ophion EVO are built to fit Mini-ITX motherboards, ATX power supplies, graphics cards up to 330mm and CPU tower coolers up to 85mm. The Ophion can fit up to three 2.5-inch drives or a single 3.5-inch HDD, while the larger space of the Ophion EVO adds room for another 2.5-inch drive, making four in total. This extra headroom allows the Ophion EVO to fit a watercooling radiator up to 240mm on its roof.

Both cases are available for pre-order on OverclockersUK, with the smaller Raijintek Ophion coming in at £119.99 while the larger Ophion EVO will set customers back £129.95.

KitGuru Says: Dual-chamber designs are nothing new, however it’s interesting to see how much effort Raijintek has gone through to ensure its Ophion cases remain a viable option for demanding tasks while retaining its SFF size. What do you think of the Ophion and Ophion EVO?

Raijintek are now an established brand in the case and cooling sectors, something which is quite impressive considering they have only been in business since 2013. Today we are looking at the Pallas low-profile cooler, its highlight feature being its size – it boasts a total height of just 68mm. Something like the Pallas will no-doubt appeal to those looking to build HTPC or tiny SFF PCs.

With the market firmly heading towards smaller (yet more powerful) systems, low-profile coolers like the Raijintek Pallas are now more important than ever. While it certainly looks good, what is the installation process like, and how does it perform? We go over everything you need to know in this review.

The Raijintek Paean is a case/test bench aimed at the enthusiast watercooling market. I say ‘case/test bench' as it is a halfway house between the two – it can be laid horizontally, allowing easy access to the motherboard, or vertically, as with a traditional chassis. Either way, the Paean is an open frame chassis as it makes use of  just two side panels, meaning the front, back and top of the case is open to the elements. In this way, it is reminiscent of the ThermalTake Core P5.

Whatever type of chassis it may be, the Raijintek Paean is definitely a looker, thanks to its aluminium construction and tempered glass side panels. It does come at a cost, though – £149.99 here in the UK. Whether or not it is worth the money is something we will investigate in this review, as we look at build quality, practicality and cooling performance before giving a final verdict.

Today we are going to take a look at an interesting water cooling product – the Raijintek Triton, an ‘all in one' CPU cooler. The Triton has been designed to be user upgradable … in fact Raijintek take things a step further and actively encourage users (who have the necessary skills) to customise their loop.

We have reviewed a number of products from Raijintek in the past and have been quite impressed with what they have to offer.  It is clear that they are looking to take on the longer established brands in the market with a slightly different take on what is already out there.

Today we are going to take a look at the first GPU cooler from Raijintek, the Morpheus. This is a high end model which has been designed to compete with the best coolers on the market from the likes of Arctic, although Raijintek offer it as a ‘heatsink only' model without any fans.

We have tested a number of quality GPU coolers in previous months, including both air and liquid cooled models. We are excited to see how the Raijintek Morpheus compares to other models from more established players in the market.  We are particularly interested to see how it compares to the Accelero Xtreme IV, the flagship cooler from Arctic Cooling.

Today we are going to look at a complete range of CPU coolers which have just been released by a new brand to the market – Raijintek. They are designed to offer excellent performance and efficiency at a reasonable price, and are targeted at avid PC users looking to get a good cooler without breaking the bank.

You would be forgiven for not having heard of Raijintek before, however they claim that you will be hearing a lot more about them in the future.  The company has been founded by some former employees of Cooler Master and Xigmatek, meaning the Raijintek team have a great deal of knowledge and experience in the cooling market.

    IMG_2188

The Raijintek range has been picked up exclusively by Overclockers in the UK who are making the coolers available to their massive customer base. We look forward to seeing how they perform in our tests as it isn't often we get the chance to test new products from an ‘unknown' brand with such a rich management history.

We will go into detail about the features and specifications of each cooler on the pages we have dedicated to them later on in the review.
