Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League did not have the best launch, with fans of developer Rocksteady lamenting the move to a live-service model, alongside many creative downgrades compared to their previous work. Being a live service game however, the title has potential to improve overtime. With Season 1 available today, the team have detailed all the new additions.

Taking to Twitter, the team at Rocksteady gave fans a look at the Battle Pass for Season 1 of Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League.

While we already knew many of the content additions coming with the 1st Season, it has now been confirmed that the Battle Pass will compose of 76 tiers, featuring new outfits (seen below), colour swatches; banners; emotes; expressions and more.

Additionally, while the Battle Pass includes a premium tier, 1000 Luthorcoin can be acquired through the free branch in order to upgrade for ‘free’. Furthermore with the Battle Passes having no expiration date, you can take as much time as you need to level up and obtain all the cosmetics.

Battle Passes can be very hit or miss depending on the game. While we will have to wait and see whether Season 1 manages to breathe new life into Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, the optics are looking relatively okay…for now. More details on Season 1 can be found HERE.

Teasing Season 1’s arrival, the team at Rocksteady officially announced the release date for Kill the Justice League’s first major update, saying “Get ready for Season 1! The jokes are coming March 28, HA!”

The announcement is of course in reference to The Joker, who will be the first new playable character arriving post-launch alongside Season 1.

It was already known that Joker would be the first new character, with Rocksteady detailing his unique moves and mechanics back in January of this year – the full details of which can be found HERE.

Blizzard's pre-season Diablo 4 patch has soured the player base after a dramatic round of nerfs.

The post KitGuru Games: Blizzard, please stop making your game worse first appeared on KitGuru.]]>
Yesterday, Diablo 4's big balance patch arrived ahead of the game's first season. If you were hoping for a rebalance to make the game more fun, then you are going to be disappointed, as all Blizzard appears to have done is increase the need to grind and slow players down quite dramatically.

I thoroughly enjoyed Diablo IV during its first month. The game has a lot to offer between its dungeons, world events and fantastic campaign. However, players have been pointing out issues in the endgame content for weeks and it seems that Blizzard can't just get out of its own way and let the players have their fun.

Classes like the Sorcerer are so weak that players are forced to use up most of their skill bar on defensive abilities. A number of builds for classes in the game are practically unplayable at World Tier 4 without the right gear and due to drop rate shenanigans, it can take quite a bit of grinding to find that item you really need to bring a build together. In some cases, that item might only be obtainable in World Tier 4.

Instead of improving the damage and defensive output of abilities and items players aren't using, they've instead chosen to nerf the ones players are using. If the hope here is that it will push players to try other things, then it is absolutely the wrong way to go about it. Taking the fun out of strong builds isn't suddenly going to make weak ones more attractive, especially amongst the dedicated players providing the most vocal feedback.

Blizzard has also made some very questionable changes to World Tiers with this patch. While before, players with good builds were comfortably getting into World Tier 4 at around level 60 to 65, there is now a level requirement in place, forcing you to tough it out on World Tier 3 until Level 70. The problem with this is that World Tier 3 becomes trivially easy very quickly. At level 66 with my Twisted Blades Rogue, I was able to do Tier 20 nightmare dungeons solo without having to ever spam my potions.

Nobody wants to grind World Tier 3 for longer than they have to, as we all know the really good stuff in Diablo is hiding in World Tier 4. The more interesting Nightmare Dungeon mechanics, harder enemies, and better loot, it is all there and for whatever reason, Blizzard doesn't want you to get to it until you've done an arbitrary amount of grinding, no matter if you're prepared to take on the challenge.

Helltides, one of the best ways to grind for better gear in the endgame, have been nerfed. Cinders, the currency needed to open up chests, now drop far less frequently. I ran a Helltide earlier this week and was easily able to farm enough Cinders to open up a few chests in around 30 minutes. Last night after the patch, I tried to run a Helltide and found that most enemies were no longer dropping Cinders. While before, doing a world event would probably net you around 50 to 60 Cinders, doing that now would only drop around 30. To make matters worse, the cost to open chests has also increased.

Another example of Blizzard purposefully slowing the game down can be found in the Dungeon Leave ability. Before, you could teleport out of a dungeon in three seconds, but now, it has been increased to five seconds. Now I'm not exactly sitting there with a stopwatch when I'm playing Diablo, but this just feels like another change that nobody asked for.

In fact, it looks like Blizzard didn't really make anybody happy with this most recent round of changes. The Diablo and Diablo IV subreddits are filled with criticisms of the new patch. Players are lamenting the lack of rewards/incentives, the costs of making changes to items at the Occultist, as well as the costs of item repairs, as well as the class-wide nerfs that have been put in place.

This isn't just something impacting the hardcore players either. Casual players who don't keep up with patch note updates are going to be wildly confused when their perfectly fine build that worked 24 hours ago is suddenly made of glass.

Some of these issues might be easier to accept if Blizzard would acknowledge some of the bigger feature requests players currently have. What we have here, is a Diablo game designed to be more ‘social', with the idea being that players run into each other and group up more often. If the goal is to foster a multiplayer community, then why on earth is there no Looking for Group or matchmaking system for Nightmare Dungeons in the game? And if that is impossible for whatever reason, then why can't we at least have in-game chat channels to ask nearby players if they want to group?

All this patch appears to have done is sour the player base ahead of the season start, with many already posting comments on the Diablo and Diablo 4 subreddits about dropping the game to play something else, like Baldur's Gate 3 or going back to Path of Exile for their next season. Up to this point, while there were some complaints with the game, players were still generally positive but this patch appears to have been a tipping point.

Blizzard itself may have already recognised this, as they are planning a Diablo 4 dev stream for later this week. Hopefully, they come to that stream armed with something resembling a plan of action.

Earlier this month, Blizzard officially announced plans for Diablo 4's first season, unveiling the new seasonal mechanic and sharing more details on what progress will carry over to seasonal characters. In order to ensure your progress carries over for the season, you'll want to log in from today.

The Season of the Malignant doesn't kick off until Thursday, July 20th. However, to ensure your progress carries over to your first seasonal character, you'll want to log in starting from today with your highest-progress character. For seasons, all discovered map locations and collected Altars of Lilith will carry over, but as Blizzard didn't plan to allow Renown progress to carry over to seasonal characters initially, the developers need players to log in after installing today's patch to save the progress state and make it account-wide.

Unfortunately, your other Renown tasks, like side quests, waypoints, strongholds and dungeons will still be reset, so there'll still be some additional grinding required for seasonal characters to unlock all benefits, such as extra Paragon points and a larger cache for currency.

Blizzard has finally announced its plans for Diablo 4's first season. ARPG seasons work a little differently to seasonal content in other games, so if you're a first-timer, or have just never engaged in an ARPG season before, there are some important points you need to be aware of. Here, we'll break down all the Season 1 details and what you can do now to prepare and have an easier start.

What is a Diablo IV season?

In Diablo IV, seasons are essentially a reset. Each season will introduce a handful of new items and a new gameplay mechanic for players to base a brand-new character around. To participate in a season, you will need to make a fresh ‘seasonal' character and you will need to do this for each season you want to participate in. Once a season is over, you will have the option to bring your character from that season to the ‘eternal realm', so you can continue to use them in the standard game mode.

The fun of a season really comes in embracing the reset and getting experimental. Each season brings new items that can have a huge impact on gameplay, so the idea is you start fresh and experiment with new ideas to tackle content.

If you are a lore-head, then seasonal storylines should be a good pull. These will be self-contained stories that don't majorly impact Sanctuary, as Blizzard is saving the biggest story moments for future expansions.

If you decide you don't want to play a seasonal character, that does not mean there will be no updates for you in the standard game. While most content will be exclusive to seasonal characters, new unique items and legendary affixes will be available to all. Blizzard also reserves the right to bring a seasonal mechanic to the standard game after a season is over if it is particularly popular. This will not be happening with the first season's mechanic and will likely only happen in rare circumstances.

Diablo IV First Season Content Breakdown:

Diablo IV's first season is called Season of the Malignant. The story/theme has a malignant force invading Sanctuary, corrupting everything from wildlife to demons. We'll meet up with Cormond in Kyvoshad to figure out how to put things right. The season begins on the 20th of July.

The new seasonal mechanic revolves around a new type of item – the Caged Heart. This is essentially a new gem type that you can socket into your rings or amulet to enable brand-new effects. One early example shown is the Caged Heart of the Picana, which enables critical strikes to electrically charge enemies, causing lightning to bounce between nearby enemies. Blizzard has said there will be 32 Malignant Hearts to find, enabling new powerful builds. Blizzard has described some of the effects as ‘game-breaking in a fun way'. As I noted in my recent Diablo 4 review, these effects will hopefully shake up the meta and enable new types of builds and gameplay styles to shine.

To obtain Caged Hearts, you will need to defeat a Malignant Monster, which will then drop a Malignant Heart. You use the Malignant Heart to summon an even more powerful version of the monster. If you beat the boss, you get a Caged Heart.

Caged Hearts are separated into four types, three are colour-specific, while the fourth can be socketed into any slot. If you need a specific colour for your build, you can go to a Malignant Tunnel on the map, which will allow you to specify the coloured heart you want before summoning the enemy for you to fight.

As you play through the game, you will make progress on your Season Journey, which is split into seven chapters. You'll finish major objectives, like collecting a specific item, completing a dungeon or defeating a certain enemy type a number of times to complete a chapter and unlock the next one. These are just examples of early objectives, we would assume they will become a bit more difficult/meaningful later on. Finishing 7 of 9 chapter objectives will earn you a reward, including new legendary affixes for your Codex of Power.

Season Journey progress will fuel your battle pass progress. The Battle Pass has 27 free tiers, which unlock seasonal blessings, like bonus XP gain, or bonuses to currency drops. The remaining 63 Premium Tiers unlock cosmetic items for those who purchased the battle pass.

Each season will run for 12 weeks, so you'll have until the 12th of October to make as much progress as you want. As seasonal content is more experimental, you may run into situations where you just don't like the current seasonal mechanic. This is bound to happen to some players at some point in time, in those situations, you may just want to take a break and see if the next season can bring you back in.

That's all the information we have on the season for now. We'll have to wait until launch to learn more about the different Caged Heart effects, new unique items and legendary affixes.

How to Prepare for Season 1:

If you are planning on playing Diablo IV's first season, there are some things you can do now to prepare and have the easiest start possible for progressing a fresh character. Not all renown progress will transfer over to the season, but all claimed Altars of Lilith and world map progress will. You only need to have completed the map and Altars once and it'll unlock for all future characters, including seasonal ones. In order to ensure your progress is transferred over, you'll need to log in once on your highest progress character after July 18th. Unfortunately, Blizzard didn't have a more elegant, background solution prepared in time but the good news is, you'll only ever have to do this once.

Obtaining all of the map locations has an obvious benefit for future fresh start characters. Altars of Lillith may have been the thing you've been putting off, but the stat bonuses you get from obtaining all of them do really add up and will provide a big bonus for current and future characters you make. Doing all of this will grant the instant unlock of the first two Renown reward blocks. You'll earn the rest by completing dungeons, side quests and strongholds.

To participate in seasons, Blizzard requires that you have finished the campaign at least once on a character. You will still have the option to do the campaign again with a seasonal character. Completing the campaign once unlocks the option to skip the campaign on all newly made characters. Also, be sure to unlock all of your potions and your horse so you can start seasons (and newly made characters in general) with a bit of a boost.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare II launched on the 28th of October to massive success, with the game breaking multiple franchise and platform records. This is all despite the fact that the game’s first Season of content has yet to go live. With Season 1 set to arrive on the 16th of November, Activision has now detailed exactly what will be coming with it.

Taking to their blog, the Call of Duty staff detailed what fans can look forward to with Modern Warfare II’s first Season of content, revealing the full suite of maps, guns, operators and more which are set to arrive on the 16th of November.

Season 1 of Modern Warfare II will be bringing with it quite a lot of content, including some features that many expected to be available at launch. Season 1 includes 6 new operators; 4 new weapons; 2 new maps (Shoot House at launch and Shipment mid-Season); a new Special Ops mission; a Raid; and a revamped Battle Pass where “Instead of a linear stream of tiers set out in a scrolling row along the bottom of your screen, your Battle Pass takes the form of a multi-Sector map” – giving players not only more freedom in choosing what to unlock, but also makes it more engaging while doing so.

Season 1 will also be bringing with it a number of modes and features which many expected to be there at launch, including a Hardcore playlist (renamed to ‘Tier 1’); player combat records; and a Prestige system.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare has already had a great start, but with the upcoming release of Season 1, it feels as though the real Modern Warfare II is only just about to begin. It’s a good thing at least that Season 1 is only coming two weeks following the game’s launch.

We're just over a month removed from HBO's The Last of Us TV series trailer debut. At the time, a premiere date was not announced, but it seems the adaptation of Naughty Dog's beloved game will be airing very soon.

Following on from rumours that the release date would be announced this week, the HBO Max streaming page for The Last of Us has been updated, saying that the first episode will premiere on the 15th of January.

That is a little over two months away, so we could be watching this new rendition of Joel and Ellie's journey very soon. The official trailer for the series debuted in late September, giving us a brief look at what's to come in the first season.

HBO's The Last of Us series will star Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey as Joel and Ellie.

Overwatch is officially going offline on the 2nd of October and two days later, Overwatch 2 will launch in Early Access. Blizzard had previously confirmed plans to introduce a Battle Pass system with Overwatch 2 and now, we finally have some official details on what that will include.

Unlike the first game, Overwatch 2 will be free to play with full cross-platform multiplayer and cross-progression from day-one. The game will also feature seasons, with each one marked by a new Battle Pass with free and premium tiers with various rewards. Those who don't buy the premium pass will get a new unlock every few levels, while premium pass holders will get something new with each level they grind. Each battle pass will have over 80 tiers, with 20 free tiers spread throughout.

Overwatch 2 will also have its own in-game currency – Overwatch Coins. You'll use these coins to unlock new skins in the store, or buy the battle pass. Each premium battle pass will cost 1000 Overwatch Coins, which costs $10 USD. You won't have to grind specific challenges to progress the battle pass. You'll get progress with every game you play, but there will be weekly and daily goals that will grant you additional XP.

Overwatch 2 Season 1 begins on the 4th of October and will introduce three new heroes, six new maps, over 30 new character skins, the first battle pass and a new game mode. Season 2 will begin on the 6th of December and will add a new Tank hero, one new map, another big set of skins and a new battle pass.

In 2023, we'll finally get a look at Overwatch 2's planned PvE mode. Over the course of the year, Blizzard will also deliver new heroes, maps, skins and game modes over the course of additional seasons.

MultiVersus has had a great reception since launching its open beta earlier this summer. The game's first season was unfortunately delayed ‘indefinitely' at the start of the month, but the developers have quickly been able to polish things up for launch, which will now be happening next week.

In an update last night, WB confirmed that MultiVersus season 1 will begin on the 15th of August and will have a brand new Battle Pass with new cosmetic rewards. This season will also see the first DLC character introduced – Morty, who will join the game on the 23rd of August.

Earlier this week, WB also gave us a sneak peek at what to expect from MultiVersus during its first season. This includes a new arcade mode for casual and party play, a new ranked mode for competitive play, new cosmetics like profile icons, banners and new costumes for characters, as well as new fighters, starting off with Morty, who will be the game's 18th character.

MultiVersus is available now as a free to play game on Xbox and PlayStation consoles, as well as PC. Each week, there is a set selection of free characters you can play with, which rotate out each week. Alternatively, you can pay to unlock characters permanently. The game's first season has been delayed and does not have a new launch date at this time, but the big update is still expected to arrive in August.

Datamining already shows that the team is planning, or had plans for additional DC characters, classic cartoon characters like The Flinstones and Johnny Bravo, and film characters like Legolas from The Lord of the Rings film trilogy and Neo from The Matrix.

MultiVersus has been a pretty big success so far, with early players enjoying the game in its on-going open beta. The game was due to officially leave beta and roll out its first season next week, but unfortunately some last minute issues have forced a delay.

Today, the MultiVersus Twitter account confirmed that Season 1 will no longer go live on the 8th of August and as a result, Morty also won't be introduced as a character until a later date.

While there is no new release date for Season 1 yet, we do know that the pre-season battle pass has been extended and will remain live until the 15th of August. Presumably, the new season will begin shortly after that.

The reason for the delay was not disclosed, but it is somewhat surprising, as MultiVersus is pretty polished as is. While MultiVersus is free to play, you will have to pay to unlock characters permanently, or you'll have to play with characters in the free rotation each week. Each season will also have a premium battle pass, which will cost £8.

This week, DICE and EA officially unveiled the first season of post-launch content for Battlefield 2042, ending a lengthy eight-month content drought. Unfortunately, the first season doesn't bring much, being limited to just one new map and a new specialist character. This sparked reports that DICE is slowly abandoning the game and shifting resources to the next project, but EA claims this is not the case.

Battlefield 2042: Zero Hour launches this week after a lengthy delay, introducing a new map set in the mountains known as Exposure, and a new Specialist known as Ewelina. The update also adds a new weapon and vehicle to the game, in addition to a full battle pass with paid and free tiers, filled with unlockable cosmetics.

Speaking on a podcast this week, industry reporter, Jeff Grubb, said due to the reception to the game, DICE is shifting resources away from Battlefield 2042, looking to deliver the required DLCs it promised before launch with as lean a team as possible. The move was described as EA “abandoning ship” on the game and leaving it to a skeleton crew to maintain.

EA of course responded to this, denying claims that the game is being abandoned. In a statement sent to Grubb after the podcast went live, an EA spokesperson said: “This isn’t untrue. There is a significant team across studios focused on evolving and improving the Battlefield 2042 experience for our players, and at the heart of that is our team at DICE. We are committed to the future of Battlefield 2042”.

Tom Henderson, who leaked a ton about Battlefield 2042 in the run up to its launch, criticised the statement, saying that the content offering in the game's first season does not show long-term commitment to turning the game around.

KitGuru Says: Battlefield 2042's first seasonal content offering sets a low bar for future seasons, so it does seem like EA is just trying to save face with this statement.

Battlefield 2042 has had a rough time following its rocky launch back in November of 2021. Since then, things have only gotten worse, with the game unable to maintain a stable content release schedule, and as such could not maintain an active audience. This might finally change with the game’s first season, which is launching this June and has now been detailed.

Making the announcement on their website, the team at DICE said “As we’ve been working to get Season 1 into your hands, it’s been a while since we provided you with a better overview of where we are with that work, and the changes and improvements that you can expect to see coming to the game throughout the year.”

With that, they detailed the many changes coming with the game’s first season. The team at DICE have been working on four separate yet essential elements which have been lackluster in BF2042 so far, namely maps; experiences & modes; core gameplay and new content.

Regarding maps, Battlefield 2042 will not only be getting new maps with Season 1, but will see launch maps get their play space reworked to include more cover, new flag positions, and an overall streamlining.

Describing it as an ‘unshackling’, BF2042 is seeing a change to a number of its game modes. The 128 player conquest mode is being altered slightly to feature “less Sectors and Capture points as we introduce new content, and update some of our existing content.”

Breakthrough mode is being entirely reduced to 64 players. While some believe the reasoning behind this is due to a lack of players filling these lobbies, DICE claims that it is to “help us to build more focused frontlines for the engagement, and the reduction in player count ensures that squads which look to work more tactically find more opportunities, and less chaotic resistance in the flanks.”

Additionally, more 32-player game modes like Rush are on their way, with BF2042’s flagship game mode, Hazard Zone, seeing its support ending entirely – aside from essential bug fixes.

On the core gameplay front, Specialists are being revised with new visual changes, additional voice lines and more immersive interactions overall. Furthermore, 3rd person animations are being improved, making this “Next Generation” Battlefield actually starting to feel that way.

EA and DICE are bringing way more changes with the Season 1 update including “New Specialists, new maps, and new weapons and gadgets that help to expand the sandbox” alongside a Battle Pass. While we have to wait until Season 1 actually goes live to judge the update, it feels as though 7 months after the game’s release, Battlefield 2042 is only just about ready for primetime – begging the question why it wasn't delayed until Holiday 2023. The full post detailing all the changes can be found HERE.

This week, DICE announced that the first season of post-launch content for Battlefield 2042 has been delayed by months, giving planned new content a Summer 2022 release window. This was followed by EA's quarterly earnings call, during which executives admitted the game did not meet expectations.

Speaking on the call, EA CEO, Andrew Wilson, maintained that they were confident that the game was ready for players hands, but as the game expanded to introduce more players, a number of unforeseen issues arose:

“Through our processes for testing and preparation, we believed the experience was ready to be put in our players' hands. We launched with strong stability, however, as more players experienced the full game, it became clear there were unanticipated performance issues that we would need to address.”

Wilson added that “some of the design choices” made with Battlefield 2042 did not resonate with a number of fans. Despite all of this, EA's financials are still in very good shape. EA expected Battlefield 2042 to account for less than 10% of its earnings during the current fiscal year, so even though the game underperformed somewhat, titles like FIFA, Apex Legends and others picked up the slack.

Wilson also expressed confidence that DICE would be able to go back and rework the game to meet expectations in the long run, acknowledging that this is something the studio has pulled off with previous Battlefield titles. With that in mind, while launch quarter sales weren't as high as anticipated, Battlefield 2042 could have a long sales tail.

KitGuru Says: Given the lengthy delay for post-launch content, it seems that Battlefield 2042 perhaps should have perhaps been planned for 2022 instead. Have many of you played Battlefield 2042 since launch? Or are you waiting for DICE to finish rolling out fixes and move on to DLCs?

The last couple of weeks have been big for news on Netflix's The Witcher. The final trailer gave us a much better look at the show as a whole and a release date for season 1, which premiers on the 20th of December. Now over a month ahead of the show's release, Netflix has announced that it has been renewed for a second season.

This of course follows an interview with the series showrunner last week, in which we were told that story ideas and plans have been mapped for as many as seven seasons of The Witcher. Obviously, Netflix isn't going to greenlight all seven at once but the fact that a second season is already guaranteed should be encouraging.

According to a report from Variety, The Witcher season 2 will begin production in early 2020 at a location in London. We'll be getting another eight episodes in season 2, although the second season apparently won't debut until 2021, so there will be a lengthy wait between seasons- a tactic that is growing increasingly common as Netflix continues to try to balance its release schedule with the sheer amount of content it is producing.

This wouldn't be the first time that Netflix has greenlit a second season for a new show before it goes live. Typically, Netflix likes to give most new shows at least two seasons to make their mark before potentially pulling the plug. Hopefully in the case of The Witcher, there will be enough interest to carry it through a decent number of seasons.

KitGuru Says: We still don't know how good season one of The Witcher will be, although the most recent trailer raised my confidence in the show quite a bit. There is a lot of story to tell in The Witcher universe, so all we can ask is that the creators get the time to do it justice.

The team behind the upcoming Witcher TV series has been hard at work crafting the first season over the last year. At this point, we know a good chunk of the important cast members and their respective characters, we've seen the first trailer for the series and we know that it is coming in ‘Q4 2019'. Now, a Netflix production executive has seemingly given away a more solid release date.

According to Giovanni Eūgene Altamarquéz, who has worked on Mindhunter, 13 Reasons Why and other Netflix Originals, The Witcher's first season should be out at the end of October 2019, although he also lists Friday the 1st of November as another likely release date.

The executive also confirmed that major filming for season 1 has wrapped up but there are some reshoots to be done. Apparently, a major character has had to be recast, so those scenes need to be filmed again. Unfortunately, we don't know what character was recast but it seems safe to assume that it wasn't Geralt, Yenneffer, Ciri or Triss, all of whom appeared in the show's trailer.

There isn't much longer to wait now, particularly if the post-production team is aiming to have things wrapped up and ready to go in October.

KitGuru Says: I wasn't expecting to see The Witcher until late December, so this is quite surprising. With that said, there is also the possibility that things could change or be pushed back beyond October/November depending on how well re-shoots and post-production goes.

During the initial unveiling of the Xbox One, Microsoft shifted much of its focus on to TV, with one of the big announcements being a new Halo TV series produced by Steven Spielberg himself. Over the years, Microsoft's TV ambitions have died down, but the company has always maintained that the Halo TV series is still happening, and now, the first season is officially underway.

Microsoft is partnering up with network, Showtime, for the Halo show. The first season has officially been ordered and will consist of ten episodes, the first of which will be directed by Rupert Wyatt, who also directed Rise of the Planet of the Apes. Kyle Killen, creator of ‘Awake', will act as the series' showrunner and writer.

Speaking about the announcement, Showtime CEO, David Nevins, said: “Halo is our most ambitious series ever”, adding that “there simply has never been enough great science fiction” in the history of TV. Kiki Wolfkill of 343 Industries also offered a statement, saying that the team is “excited to navigate these new creative waters” with the goal of delivering something that is “respectful of what you already know and love, but also new, surprising and enthralling”.

There is also speculation that Marty O'Donnell will be involved on the music side of things, as he has been teasing a Halo reunion on Twitter this week. The series will go into production in early 2019, so we should start learning a lot more next year.

KitGuru Says: Given that the Halo movie ended up stuck in development hell, I don't think many were expecting this TV show to come to fruition. Still, here we are, it all seems to finally be happening, the only question that remains now is whether or not it will be any good. Will any of you be tuning in to the Halo TV series when it finally arrives next year?
