Sharkoon has released some great gaming peripherals over the years. Today, a new one is being added to the list, the new Hi-Res-certified SKILLER SGH50 gaming headset.

The SKILLER SGH50 is available in both black and white colour options, coming with hybrid earpads that use a combination of synthetic leather and fabric for a more comfortable fit. Both colour options use the same 50mm drivers, with a range of 10Hz to 40KHz.

The headset's drivers are tuned enough to earn Hi-Res certification, which should mean you'll get more precise audio while gaming, aiding in hearing where the action is coming from. For voice chat and video calls, the SKILLER SGH50 is equipped with a microphone complete with pop filter. Whenever the microphone is no longer needed, it can be simply detached from the headset.

Thanks to a modular set of TPE-sheathed cables, the gaming headset can be connected to all devices with common audio ports, whether PCs, consoles, or mobile devices. Using the inline controller, muting the microphone or adjusting the volume can be performed quickly and easily.

The SKILLER SGH50 is now available in white and black with hybrid ear pads, priced at 59.90 euros.

Sharkoon has released plenty of peripherals over the years but its new keyboard might be its best yet. The new SKILLER SGK50 S4 is a fully customisable mechanical keyboard with support for both 3-pin and 5-pin switches, so users can easily replace switches to find their perfect balance between type-feel, noise and responsiveness.

The SKILLER SGK S4 barebones model ships without keycaps and switches and are designed for both ANSI or ISO layouts. It'll be the perfect starting point for someone looking to put together their own custom mechanical keyboard.

The barebones model is available in both black or white. As the board is compatible with both 3-pin and 5-pin switches, you can put almost any model of switch in. If you need help deciding on a switch type, mechanical switch tester kits can be found cheaply online.

Like the pre-built version of the SKILLER SGK S4, the barebones model comes in a 60 percent format, so you'll save plenty of desk space compared to a full-sized model. The board also has easy-to-program RGB lighting with several effects.

The Sharkoon SKILLER SGK50 S4 Barebones version is available starting this month, priced at €49.90.

Today at Computex, Leo and Mat visited Sharkoon to get the latest on peripherals and cases. Better yet, we got a sneak peek at some in-development products hitting the market later in the year.

Last year Sharkoon launched its full-size and TKL Pure Writer mechanical keyboards with Kail Choc Red (linear, non-clicky) and Kailh Choc Blue (Tactile, audible click) switches. Now, Sharkoon also has a 65% version of this keyboard, making for an ultra-compact and very portable mechanical keyboard. Another keyboard that caught our eye was the SKILLER SG50 S3, complete with a colourful array of keycaps. This is another compact 65% keyboard with custom keycaps to match one of Sharkoon's custom mouse mats. This particular keyboard is also available in larger sizes for those who prefer a larger keyboard.

Finally on the keyboard front, Sharkoon is also announcing the SGK 70 wireless keyboards, available in black and white, with clear keycaps to allow RGB lighting to shine straight through. The SGM25W wireless gaming mouse is also a compact and portable mouse. Both of these products are due to arrive sometime around Christmas.

To go with all of this, Sharkoon also showed the SKILLER SGM50W, an upcoming wireless gaming mouse with an RGB charging dock. It looks very nice in its white and black colourway, with a white body accented by black switches and a black Sharkoon logo.

Sharkoon's expanding its chair line-up this year too, moving beyond racing-style chairs, the company is now working on ergonomic office-style chairs too.

On the case front, Sharkoon has the C50, with a full mesh front panel and RGB fans illuminating through. The Rebel C50 without RGB is a touch cheaper. The Hex is a more unique design with hexagonal mesh cutouts and a bunch of RGB fans pre-installed – three in the front, two in the roof and one in the back – it is typically rare to see a case shipping with so many fans out of the box, the fact that these are RGB makes it more impressive.

In the near future, Sharkoon's VS8 and VS9 cases will be hitting Europe. These are mid-tower cases, with a variety of front panel designs on offer. These will be cheap too, coming in at around $60.

KitGuru Says: Sharkoon's full-art mouse mats do look very nice and would pair well with a keyboard with custom key caps.

Sharkoon has been releasing gaming-oriented furniture for some time now, with a full selection of gaming chairs and desks. This month, Sharkoon is introducing two new desks – the SKILLER SGD10 and SGD20, both of which come with a tabletop-sized mouse mat and plenty of space for a full gaming setup.

With a tabletop that is 160 centimetres long and 80 centimetres wide, the SKILLER SGD10 should offer enough space for a PC, multiple monitors, and all your necessary peripherals like a mouse and keyboard. If you choose the SKILLER SGD20 instead, you'll have more space, with this version measuring in at 180cm long and 85cm wide. Thanks to a robust steel frame construction, both models have a load capacity of up to 100 kilograms, and the height of the desks can be adjusted in three stages via the extra-large legs.  The top of the desk also has a full mouse mat cover, giving you plenty of room to perform all movements needed in games.

To help keep your setup tidy, the Sharkoon desks offer extensive cable management options, with two cable outlets near the back edge of the tabletop. This allows you to route your cables and keep them as out of sight as possible for a clean setup. If you opt for the larger SKILLER SGD20, you'll have another cable management opening in the middle, and you can attach a magnetic cable channel to the left or right leg of the desk. If you need a place to keep your headset, both desks come with a headset holder attachment.

The Sharkoon SKILLER SGD10 is available now for €279. The SKILLER SGD20 is available for just a bit extra, coming in at €299.

Sharkoon is revamping its gaming chair line-up for 2022. This week, the company is launching the new SKILLER SGS30 gaming chair, which comes in two versions – one in synthetic leather and another with a breathable fabric cover instead.

The SKILLER SGS30 is available in two different versions: one version with a classic fabric cover and another with a stylish synthetic leather cover. The fabric version is available in a black and light grey color scheme with seams along the contours of the backrest. The synthetic leather version is available in four different color schemes: black with subtle color accents in either beige or white; and black with playful color accents in either pink or red.

For the extra relaxation of the spine, both versions come with headrest and lumbar cushions made of memory foam. The backrest of the chair can be reclined and locked at up to 165 degrees, allowing the user to lie back and take a rest. The seat base is thickly padded, and the class class-4 gas lift piston and the robust aluminium five-star base enable a secure hold.

The SKILLER SGS30 has an integrated tilt mechanism underneath the seat base, which allows the chair to be tilted backwards by up to 14 degrees. The backrest, on the other hand, can be reclined at an angle of up to 165 degrees.

The Sharkoon SKILLER SGS30 is available starting this month, priced at €299. Discuss on our Facebook page, HERE.

As PC enthusiasts, many of us here take pride in our overall setups and getting a nice desk is usually a big part of that. Sharkoon has already delved into the furniture world with its own series of gaming chairs and now, the SKILLER SGD1 desk has also been added to the mix.

The SKILLER SGD1 from Sharkoon takes on a modern desk design, with a black surface, integrated cable management and height adjustment. The projected sides of the surface act as a good place to put your elbows, meanwhile the edges of the top surface are chamfered to server as a wrist rest of sorts- although if your keyboard has its own padded wrist rest, you'll likely want to keep using that instead.

While the top surface is black, the legs are blue. We don't know if different coloured versions will be available later down the line, but this could serve as a good way to colour co-ordinate beyond your chair, peripherals and any lights you may have in your rig. The legs are also made out of steel and are laid out in a triangle formation to offer stability. The feet can be raised or lowered to give you a degree of height adjustment.

In terms of weight/size, the desk is 33.5 kg and measures in at 145 x 81 x 14.5 centimetres, so it is sensibly sized. The cable tidy is stashed underneath the top surface too, so you can keep everything looking clean.

This desk will begin shipping this month, with a €229 price tag.

KitGuru Says: A lot of PC gamers have taken to gaming chairs in different colour combinations, so it will be interesting to see if the same idea can catch on with desks. The SGD1 is quite expensive though. What do you guys look for when it comes to getting a desk?

Over the last year, Sharkoon has been expanding in to the gaming chair market with affordable, sub-£200 options. Now this week, the company is aiming to tackle the high-end too, with a new premium chair with real leather, rather than faux leather or cheaper fabric.

The Sharkoon SKILLER SGS5 is a premium model, stepping above the SGS2 by trading in the cheaper fabric for real leather upholstery. This is described as an ‘executive chair' and features many of the same characteristics as the SGS4, including a steel frame and support for 200cm body length and 150KG weight.

Lumbar and head cushions are included as expected. The chair uses the same five-star base that you'll find on most gaming chairs, although the SGS5 turns things up a notch by including locks for the wheels. If you're trying to play a racing sim, or if you've found a perfect sitting position at your desk, then you can lock the wheels in place to avoid rolling around.

The foam passing on the SGS5 is rated at 70kg/m3 density for the seat and backrest. The adjustable arm rests can also be moved for different angles and heights. There is a rocking function, so you can lean back and lock the chair in place at angles between 90 and 160 degrees.

Given that this is a fully leather chair, it is on the more expensive end of the spectrum. The Sharkoon SKILLER SGS5 will launch for €499. If you are after something cheaper, then the SGS2 line is still available and sits under the €200 mark.

KitGuru Says: There are lots of options to choose from in the gaming chair market at the moment. Are any of you looking to pick one up? What do you think of Sharkoon's latest offering?

When you spend hours a day sat at a desk, it is important to make sure you have a comfortable place to sit with plenty of back support. We've seen a big rise in the gaming chair market over the last few years because of this but many options end up coming in above the £200 mark. This week, Sharkoon is launching a new line of gaming chairs, coming in at a competitive price while maintaining many of the usual features you would expect.

Sharkoon's SKILLER SGS2 gaming chair is a new seat in the range. Rather than opting for leather, this particular chair comes with a breathable fabric cover instead, encasing the 83 cm high foam padded backrest as well as the 39.5 x 50 cm large seat. The base of the chair has steel frame construction, meanwhile the backrest is adjustable with a tilt control system, so there is plenty of room for individual adjustments. You can check out the chairs in the gallery below:

The chair comes in a black design with different coloured highlights, including red, blue, green and grey. Seating height is always important to overall back posture, so this chair comes equipped with a class-4 gas lift piston so people of different sizes can find their sweet spot.

The gas-lift piston can safely support a maximum weight of 110 kilograms. The total weight of the chair itself is 20.8KG, with five 60mm wheels supporting it. All of the chair options will be available within a few weeks time, with suggested pricing of 179 euros, making it competitive up against the likes of Vertagear, AK Racing and other competitors.

KitGuru Says: I've been shopping around for a new chair myself, as my current one is starting to get a bit old. How many of you are currently looking for a new chair for your desk? What do you think of Sharkoon's new offering?
