While Jonsbo may not be a familiar name to some system builders and PC enthusiasts over here in the UK, it has just re-entered the U.S market and has some rather funky PC chassis designs to offer.

Jonsbo is a Chinese brand, manufacturing PC hardware including cases and cooling solutions. Many of its products follow tradition, however, its latest case, the TR03, sees a departure from the norm with a triangular design, featuring tempered glass side panels for enthusiast system builders to show off their creations.

The TR03 is described by Jonsbo as a “high-end ATX case based on triangular elements”. The triangular hardware is constructed from 4mm thick aluminium by an innovative extrusion process with inner steel panels to maintain structural strength. The triangular left and right side panels are made from 4mm tempered glass along with a rectangular tempered glass front.

Jonsbo’s triangular design does not compromise on hardware support either, up to 360mm radiators can be installed inside, along with graphics cards up to 460mm in length, mounted horizontally and are supported by the integrated GPU bracket to prevent sagging.

Inside the TR03 is room for up to three 2.5-inch SSD drives and three 3.5 HDDs or alternatively five 2.5-inch SSDs. A total of seven PCIe slots are located at the rear with a front I/O consisting of two USB 3.0 ports with 3.5mm headphone and microphone sockets. The case supports full ATX size motherboards and standard ATX power supplies with a maximum length of 185mm.

There are two options with the TR03, an aluminium fronted TR03-A, which has a similar design as the front of a Phanteks Enthoo Evolv, or the TR03G which is the tempered glass version mentioned earlier.

Currently, there is no information regarding pricing, or if this case will reach the UK market. For more information and to check out the full range of cases from Jonsbo, head over to their website.

KitGuru says: Jonsbo is considered to be a premium brand and has some really interesting looking PC chassis on offer, let's hope the TR03 makes its way over to the UK soon.
