Xbox Switch 2 rollout continues with Oblivion Remastered in August and Diablo 4 in September

Microsoft has been a big early supporter of the Switch 2 platform, bringing over several of its biggest games over within the console's first year on the market. So far, we've seen titles like Overwatch, Fallout 4 and Indiana Jones brought over. Now over the next couple of months, Switch 2 versions of Oblivion Remastered and Diablo 4 are set to release. 

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered is launching on Switch 2 on the 11th of August. Then in September, Diablo 4 will become available on Switch 2 for the first time, and it should be a big seller on the Switch 2 platform, as Diablo 3 found a massive audience when it came to the original Switch console.

Later in the year, Microsoft will also be bringing over Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 to the Switch 2 platform, rounding out a very strong and consistent year of releases for the system. However, some of Microsoft's support for Nintendo's platform could be dialled back in future years.

While for a while it looked like Microsoft would abandon exclusive games and focus its efforts on bringing titles to all available platforms, new Xbox leadership has since taken over, and exclusive games are back on the menu once again. With that said, future COD games will still come to Switch 2, and we also expect certain multi-platform series like Fallout to remain multi-platform.

KitGuru Says: Diablo 4 can be a bit too much for the Steam Deck to handle at times, so it will be interesting to see how well it holds up on the Switch 2 instead.
