Sharkoon launches low-profile PureWriter W100 with Huano switches

Sharkoon has introduced the PureWriter W100, a new full‑size low‑profile keyboard offering dual‑mode connectivity and a focus on quiet, comfortable typing.

The PureWriter W100 can operate either wired over USB‑C or wirelessly via a 2.4 GHz connection, giving users flexibility between a clean wireless setup and a fixed desktop configuration. It uses a classic 3‑block layout with 104/105 keys, aimed at those who prefer a traditional full‑size design for work or everyday use.

Sharkoon has kept the PureWriter series’ ultra‑flat profile, pairing low‑profile ABS keycaps with an aluminium top plate for added rigidity. The keyboard uses Huano linear silent switches rated for 50 million actuations, with a 1.4 mm actuation point and a 40 g operating force, designed to deliver quiet, consistent keystrokes during long typing sessions.

The W100 includes RGB lighting with adjustable effects, onboard memory for profiles, N‑key rollover support and a dedicated volume wheel. A 2,000 mAh battery provides up to 160 hours of use in wireless mode, and the keyboard supports Windows PCs as well as PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

The PureWriter W100 is available starting this week, priced around €59.90.
