Quantic Dream has three games in the works

Quantic Dream might have plans to release a Star Wars game, but there have been some serious doubts raised over the studio's ability to get the project off the ground. Recent reports claim that QD is having issues with the tech behind the game, as well as issues hiring talent following a string of allegations against QD management. Now, Quantic Dream has spoken out against these reports, claiming that development is going well.

The update appears to be in direct response to these recent reports, with one claiming that Star Wars Eclipse is still many, many years away and has already been delayed internally. As Quantic Dream puts it, development is going “serenely”, and the company also has two other games in the works.

As reported by VGC, in a recent press release, Quantic Dream also said that its workforce increased by 50 percent in 2021, contradicting reports that the studio is struggling to hire developers for its upcoming projects.

Quantic Dream is currently working on Star Wars Eclipse, as well as two other projects, which have not been officially announced. There are no official release dates for any of these games.

KitGuru Says: Everything we've heard about Star Wars Eclipse since its announcement indicates that it isn't releasing for a very long time. With that in mind, don't expect to see gameplay for at least a couple of years.
